Yes, but im sure that extra coin up front from all the passholders definitely helps early on. They loose that and they may regret it.

It was cold. They were blowing snow on the one trail open, and not really anywhere else. Since they were blowing on the only open trail the snow stayed decent, just sucked having ride through the guns. Got pretty crowded around 11:30.

We listened to the guy on the snow report. Said bring your gear as we are opening tomorrow. I trust that way more then the website. Just listened again. to make sure i wasn't hearing things. Good to go tomorrow.

Temple snowboard club is also heading up this weekend.

I'd be down for that adventure as long as it takes place sunday, but it's far. You can get to hunter/belleayre quicker.

There's maybe 1 or 2 hotels on the road going up to Belleayre so there isn't really much around. You'll have to drive a bit to find cheaper chain hotel/motels.
