Honestly, i think Magne-traction is a load of shit. Road it all last season, and didn't really notice an advantage in edge hold in harder conditions. The board overall is a great board though, super fun and is good for just about anything.

Talking about the other jeremy jones. Big mountain JJ has a sick movie coming out next year, and he no longer rides for rossi. He started his own company called Jones Snowboards. Back on track, I thought JJ's part was kind of weak. Would have been cool once or twice, but it was just to repetitive.

Your forgetting the difference in cost of plane tickets. Utah/Colorado= 200-250. Europe is at least double if not more then that.

The t1 is a regular cambered snowboard. Nitro didn't start with rocker/rocker and camber until this year. They had one late release last year called the Sub Pop.

Not sure, I haven't had a chance to try them on. I wouldn't judge there boot by who is on there team, that just means they have deep pockets. Rome had a dope team when they came out with boots and it took them 3 years before they came out with a good boot. Being that its' only there 2nd year making boots, i'm not sure i'd want to ride them just yet.

When plattekill got blasted early season last year in October, the owner rolled by the mountain and saw people hiking up. Owner went over and offered to spin the lifts for a small fee. No staff at all. Dude is the fucking man.

Honestly, if you have the extra money i'd go out west. Vermont doesn't compare to it, no matter how you look at it. Times to get out west are comparable to times it takes to get to any good resort in VT, and if roads suck, add on a few more hours to that drive time. Utah is super easy, fly to SLC and they will take you right to the resort, Most resorts, if you get there the same day you flew in, they'll let you ride free that day which is nice.

Your best options are in VT, or NH. Tuckermans is nice, you just have to hike. That will probably be one of the best comparisons. Other then that, there is Stowe and Jay, which I'd say are the best in the east as far as terrain and snow. Then there is always the Chic Chocs up in New Foundland, but it's easier to get out west then it is to get there.

I know what salomon's system is. I've tried on everything from f20, f22's, dialougue, they all just fit me bad. Shops are set up to fix boa, I've had to fix quiet a few of them, and sometimes they can be a complete pain in the ass.

Boa is ok as long as it doesn't break on the hill then your fucked, as well as any other quick lace system which is a big reason i don't like them. It doesn't take long to tie boots to begin with, and I never have to re tighten my boots on the hill, so thats not a problem for me. Only thing I'm digging this year is the Boa Conda that K2 is using. Best heel hold i've seen out of any boot ever. I'm getting the K2 T1's this year, and even they are still lace boots just with the boa conda.

I kept hearing good things about Salomon boots, but when i tried some on, they just fit my feet terribly. I'm also not a fan of any quick lace system.
