Sack up and just drive it straight. My buddy did the SoCal to Philly drive non stop, don't really know how he managed to stay awake for 46 hours of non stop driving.

I had the same thoughts last year, but decided on the Rome Notch 1985, glad i did. I have a GNU riders choice BTX, the Notch just feels so much better, and yes the notch is also reverse camber. I don't think im going to have a single cambered board in my quiver this year. In my opinion RC is the only way to go anymore.
Rockered boards already ride way shorter then they are, and you think a 157 was to much? Riding a 154 is going to be like riding a 150 straight midget status.
Exactly, fast and stable is kind of what i was getting at. Especially when your trying to keep up with skiers riding sticks 20-30cm's larger then your board.
For shits and giggles. I rode a 162 rockered rome notch last year for awhile until i broke it in Utah, and i my everyday board was a 157 GNU riders choice. Big boards are fun as hell to ride.
You can easily get onto a normal sized board. There are plenty of other companies doing the smaller footprint now. And most except Salomon have removable liners so they'll dry.
Bingo. Unless they start cutting the pipe daily, or atleast every few days. Putting in the tow is a waste, since it is only good for a short period of time through out the year.
What size boot are you in now?
If your shrinking your foot a size with a smaller boot, then you could probably get on a normal sized board. My buddy rides a rome agent with f22's and he's a size 12.
I've only ridden 2 resorts in Utah, but Powder mountain is a mountain i'd love to spend some more time at. Nothing is really hard and technical, but the terrain is just super fun, lots of smaller hits, and the place is not crowded at all so pow lasts for a bit. Plus the 10 dollar cat skiing is awesome espeically if your willing to hike a bit.
When it acutally snows through an entire storm and doesn't go limb half way through and start raining, is when i'll believe the weather men. For now, im expecting a warm raining pattern previous to the past years.
I was rolling around on a Long travel HT, and wasn't feeling ballsy enough to ride the DH course, but our buddy Corey did. Said they were pretty tough, slick, full of roots and rocks, and fairly steep.
