  1. Im listing this for a buddy of mine. He's trying to unload the boots as he doesn't really use them. They've been used for 5 days so there still in great condition. They are size 12's. Info on the boot: Super smooth flex and supportive comfort, the K2 Darko Snowboard Boot offers everything you need for freestyle domination anywhere you want to go. The K2 Darko's Control Foam 3D IntuitionTM Liner with micro-articulating cuff combines uncompromised comfort and support with explosive mobility. NEW! Vibram Super Light Sole with KGB Technology helps cushion those hard landings while K2
  2. Im gonna side with Method about the T6. I rode one for two years, and hit some big jumps with it, didn't always land perfect and never had any problems. Board still rode like the first day even after 60ish days on it. Rails would mangle the core. Boards like an Artifact aren't exactly meant for hitting big jumps, it's much more of a noodle and if landed on incorrectly either too far back or too far forward it's going to break the tip or tail off at the binding. Those types of boards are produced fairly cheap with way fewer materials since they are really just meant for jibbing and will be destroyed in a season anyway. They will also be way less stable and more likely to wash out on big jumps. And as far as comparing a Magne traction board to something like an alpine carving hard boot setup isn't even a far comparsion. I don't think there is one board out there that will carve like a hard boot setup.
  3. To my knowledge if you can carve correctly it will look like a pencil line, so i state again why can't a mag board carve turns. Im not trying to say he's wrong because this will be my first year on a mag board, but im curious as to why a mag board couldn't carve a turn.
  4. Summersux- If a magne-traction board can't carve big turns, then why are they putting it on free ride boards?
  5. If you haven't heard ski resorts are already getting hammered. Intrawest is in big trouble.
  6. I bought these at the Nestors sale. Not sure if they are fore sale anymore, thinking about just keeping them.
  7. Looks like they'll be able to blow snow every night except tomorrow night, so they should get a decent amount of snow down by the weekend. Enough to have a full trail i don't know.
  8. Its 30-40% off.
  9. I've watched about half of it so far. I'd say the best movie i've seen in a LONG time. Rice is ridiculous.
  10. Been waiting for this for along time. thanks for the heads up.

    Jay Peak

It must have slipped my mind.

Thats all relevant. If the NE gets stuck in a dry spell it might not snow at all.

Your leaving out the whole area of the chin...

You've clearly never explored stowe then.

    I wouldn't say it's a hidden gem anymore...

    Mammoth Dump!

    How about this. Yesterday

    Jay Peak

Rode there last year. Wasn't super impressed with the terrain, nothing really that difficult at least in my mind. Would be awesome if you got there in the middle of a storm cycle. When i was there it was icy. It's cheaper then stowe, but i think Stowe is a much better place to go. Terrain is much better.

    broken equipment

Not really a design flaw, just user error. They've been using that system for atleast 3-4 years now, and it hasn't changed.
  19. Most shops around here won't carry many stiff boots to begin with since the majority of the market is for park riding and you being such a large size just makes it even harder.
  20. Money. That's all. The market in Pa just isn't there.
  21. Billy's is probably the greatest place in the world, as far as getting a good burger.
  22. Your clearly not looking hard enough. I went through the phase of not being able to find a coat, but then i realized i just had to look at other "Less Known" brands and i found exactly what i wanted. The solid colors are still out there, they just don't get advertised because they are not eye catching like the odd patterned coats. What are you looking for? I can probably find something. But i don't get mad at companies for making different things. If thats what they want to make so be it. No reason to be like why do they make such dumb shit. I've disliked half the companies out there for a long time because of the weird prints they put on coats, but they are still in business several years later so i guess people continue to buy there stuff.
  23. Crappy pattern printed jackets piss you off? Sounds like you need to get out some more.

    Mini Ice Age

That was for a completely different reason. If a massive volcanic eruption does occur again. It will become cooler for a few years until the dust settles. This summer did seem cooler then summers previous. August was relatively cool, but September seems to be a little warmer then average at least in the beginning of the month.
  25. Yeah i've seen the contraband binding. Im a bit skeptical on that one. I rode Ride SPi's for the past 2 seasons and loved them, minus the horrid buckles that have been fixed since i bought mine. Im going to be on some Rome Targa's this year. I've heard nothing but good things about Rome bindings so we'll see.
