snowbasin is on my list to hit. Thinking about hitting it next year.

Yes they are haha. My buddy has his box stolen at a dealership. His bill to replace what was stolen was around 20g's.

Unless the pictures are decieving it looks so short. Good for 2-3 hits tops...

Uh.. Spend money on something that can be used for MAYBE 1 month out of the season. (that pipe is not even close to being ready. Season ends in a month to month and a half) Or drop more money on something that can be used for the entire season.. Whats more worth it? The blue argument is kind of not relavent. People are bitching because blue's conditions for the most part BLOW. If they actually blew snow conditions would greatly improve over the icy mess that is normally blue mountain. That is why people are bitching there.

Ride SPi's. Bombproof. Most solid binding i've ridden and i love them to death. Awesome freeride binding.

They do realize that there is only a month-month and a half tops left in this season... They better get to work.

If you want something good. Hike. You can find some good lines without to much hiking.

Or just giant piles of ice. Freeze/thaw....

I was just up at Jay this past weekend. Conditions were good. They should of just gotten a bunch of snow from this last storm so i'd imagine things are going to be looking pretty nice.

Sunday Feb 17th at Blue _ who is going to be there?
Dan- replied to Papasteeze's topic in Blue Mountain
Bunch of us will probably be there. -
Go with what fits your boot the best, aswell as how stiff or soft you want them. Personally I'd go with the Rome's again. From what i've seen they are a solid binding.

Thats a deep bootpack....

Trev i hate to tell you but you missed the sickest day EVER at blue. I would be so pissed if i were anywhere else but Pa right now...

Blue either needs park passes, or make people watch a free video before going into the park. Blue has to many people with the mindset of, i paid for my ticket, i will ski where ever i want to, without thinking of all of the risks involved in park riding/skiing. Countless people have been told to stay off landings and such and more often than not the response is "i'll ski wherever i want." I like the fence idea though. If it works anything like the fence for the pipe it will help a ton. Steps should definitely be shoveled A LOT MORE. For the time that the park has been opened, i think i've been there once MAYBE twice when the steps were actually shoveled off and you had to actually walk up the steps. It's a great idea, but the whole purpose is defeated when the steps are just filled in with snow and you can ride up them. Then you get all the clowns who try and side step up the steps and causing more problems then just taking off your gear. As for the landings. Justo and i were talking about this yesterday while standing at the bottom of the last hit in the jump line. They definitely need to be steeper, and longer. For the landing on the forth hit, you get maybe 5-10 feet of space to land, before it starts to mellow out real fast. IMO they should make the jump bigger, turn it into a step up, thus giving alot more room for a bigger landing.

You sure about that...? When the park gets ridiculous, we have someone scope the line to make sure it's clear... And Mike.... Im gonna have to agree with toast. You don't know how many people we see every day doing the wrong thing. Standing on landings, cutting people off in the jump line to just cruise over the landing.. The park isn't a joke. If nothing is done someone is going to get wrecked. Period. Today i saw one of the the best things i ever saw on the hill. One of the guys we were riding with got snaked in the pipe by i'd say a 6 year old kid who just decided to cruise through the pipe? Why i don't know. But his dad comes flying down to us, stops his kid in his tracks, and makes him apologize to our friend and he told his son that he needs to wait his turn and yell drop before going.. Now if only all of the parents could be like this guy...

Pa at it's finest.

Thats how the pipe was the first weekend it opened. Soft on the right, hard on the left. My toeside is the right wall so it works out. Tuesday night, pipe was money. The rain and fog softened up both walls pretty good.

Height has a lot less do with measuring the proper ski length. It's more based on the weight, and how good of a skier the person is.

damn... it was sooo nice to.

Simon's run was BIG. But Tanners run was Flawless. Everything was pretty much perfect. Simon just hucked himself pretty much, but had very little style while tanners shit looked real clean.. It's good to see that it's not going in the direction of who can just throw themselves as hard as possible and look like shit, but still win.

Jeez WP is so lame.. Who would want to work there...

Bad week? Try Bad Year. 20+ have been killed in avalanches in the past 7 weeks. That doesn't include all of the other crazy stuff that has happened this year with people falling off lifts, hitting trees, and other trauma related deaths. I heard that this is more already this year, then all of last year.
