4 hour drive.. Ill get there around 9. I might be getting a hotel room up there, instead of driving back to my mountain house then back again.. a room for 1 night can't be that much.

No where is gonna have any steep stuff open this early.. Mainly just blue runs. Hunter does have a more powerful snowmaking system, so they may have a few more trails open. But then look at Hunter=Full of crowds Belleayre=No crowds.

Things are looking up for Big Mountain then, aslong as the freezing levels are low enough?

Will only work in our favor if we get a cold front from canada at the same time. If not were gonna have alot of rain, since it will be bring warm air from the gulf.

Real snowboarding/skiing > 1-2 rails/filming/video premier.... you can film all season long, you can buy the video. But how often do you get to make turns in the east around thanksgiving weekend...

Looking at the weather, alot of resorts may be cranking up the guns. Blue even has atleast 1 night to do so.

You also have beautiful scenery out there to look at while driving, which to me, would help alot.

Heres where you are wrong.. Many other places still use "Mounds" and they have pipe cutters.. JFBB could use them, they are just inexperienced with the cutter obviously.

Whats your point. Every resort stil uses a cutter regardless. Blue has 2 mounds, they still have a cutter... The "Molds" don't do anything.. besides provide a basic shape, if they just blew snow on them, it's just be 2 mounds of snow... Admit for once that you are wrong..

Every place with a pipe needs to have a pipe dragon.. Even with molds the pipe still has to be cut. The mold just provides a basic shape nothing more.

I wouldn't really look at long range.. They don't say anything, there are too many variables to predict weather accuratly that far away. If anything i'd look at the yearly averages if you can find them.
