I coulda been going there with ya bro. I got accepted, but later decided that i would probably just not go to school, and just ride everyday. It is a great program though. They hook you up real good. To answer some of your questions Sno. It's 3 years like park said. Seems awsome if thats what you wanna do. Live on Killington in an old Bed and Breakfast that GMC bought. Cost is about 30K a year, so it's not cheap by any means. I was all about it when i first went, but things changed, and i decided to just go to community college, until i figure out what i wanna do. They said if i change my mind i can always get back in though, which is pretty cool. As for grades, i had a few A's but mostly B's, and terrible SAT scores. Parkbuilder, were you there for the open house at the end of October, i think it was the 23rd of last year? -
Most things i've heard about a vapor have been good. Super-light, and really snappy. I haven't ridden one. Honestly though, i don't think it's worth 900, at all. DH, what model boards you talking about, 07, or 08?

Option, Lib Tech, Ride, and Rome all make solid boards. As far as bindings go. I like Ride, and higher end Burton bindings. Most companies produce wide boards to accomadate people with big feet. Search around the internet, and go to shops, and look around. And remember bring your boots to make sure they fit the bindings you buy.

Definatly go to Fernie. I here that place is amazing if they get snow. If i was you, id be content with what you have right now
-
I looked it up. Loveland and A-basin have about the same base elevation. A-basin has about 1000 more vert over loveland though. A-basin is also not very small, so i dunno what your talking about. It's nothing compared to vail, but by no means is it small.

What does that have anything to do with, them opening first... The only thing that really matters is elevation and location..
-
We don't get alot of natural snow...
-
Jackson Hole in Early January. Vermont, probably Stowe again in March. Hopefully ill be hiking Tuckermans this year, probably late april, early may. Or if im lucky, Ill skip tucks, and head out to Whistler(if i can save enough money)

It's impossible to predict weather for the entire country there are to many variables. Atleast the local weather is some what correct in what they do. A 5 day forecast. Last year everyone predicted a colder winter for the east... They were wrong. I stopped listening to these things along time ago.
-
Many peaks in colorado are getting snow aswell.
-
Not saying it's still there... It was only a dusting on Sonora Pass, i think thats what it's called.
-
The upper elevations of colorado, tahoe, and wyoming have all recieved snow in the last week. Snow line was down to around 10,500 feet. So winter is coming.
-
Same. The board retails for around 350 new.
