I know Utah has a good public transportation system. Im not sure if you can get from one mountain to another, but if you can get to SLC you can definatly get to most of the mountains from the sytem there.

Because gore-tex uses a different rating system. I saw on a different board awhile ago, someone said the gore-tex ratings were that high.
-
There saying the new trail won't be open until 07-08...?
-
depends on the grade of the waterproofing, and how well it's taken care of. Goretex lasts for years. And i think it's rated at 70,000-80,000 mm.

Gore-Tex... And if you have to wash you ski gear, use something like Nikwax, or something else thats specially made for washing waterproof gear. If you don't, your gonna wash your waterproofing stuff right off your gear. Is the ski mania sale only at quakertown, or is it at whitehall to?

I don't spend anytime looking for a good spot. I just park in the closest spot that i see, i don't drive up and down the rows. It's ok to walk alittle.
-
The scratches arn't gone. There just filled in with wax... And the wax will wear away, so once again the scratches will be there. You would have to p-tex to get rid of the scratches.

It's mostly preferance, but most people want flexible bindings so you can tweak shit out more. With a stiff binding your not gonna tweak grabs at all. Stiff bindings are more for hard carving, but once again it all depends on the rider.
-
I just have to figure out if ride will give me 3D disks.. I rode forum i think ATX's for a year, they were solid i guess. I like my burton p1's better, and capstraps are the shit. I just need new bindings for my other board, and i don't like were burton is going, they're trying all this tech shit, and honestly i just think it's making everything worse. Ride bindings have always been solid, and i know the hold up like a mother f*cker. I just wanted to know if anyone on here had SPi's.
-
nah, i don't need to be a u-tard, and im not mfm. To me t9's look very cheap, and will break, plus i don't like that low high back.
-
Enjoytheride- Just because a binding costs 400 dollars doesn't mean it's the best for everyone. Yes burton's c60 cost about 380, but the binding is stiff as shit, and meant for real hard carvers, not some parkrat. c60's are actually very light, but light isn't always good...

I will never buy drake bindings. They are garbage, and i've seen several of them go to shit. I had a pair of ride bindings awhile back, but then switched to Burton p'1s. Great binding. But i don't like were burton is taking there products. They seem to be getting cheaper and cheaper with materials, and i hate how every company is going for light shit. It just brakes easier so you can go buy new stuff. I know ride bindings hold up well, and i've heard good things about the SPi's so i just wanted to see what everyone on here thought of htem.

Anybody have these? Im thinking about getting these this upcoming season, and would like to know how they are. Durability? Stiffness? stuff like that.

As i said it was an OPINION. I guess you didn't read that part. And you obviously don't know me that well, because to me, terrain parks do not matter. And yes i am young, so cost of living would have a great deal to do with me going there. Every place is the same as far as things to do. I live in one of the biggest cities in the country and i still get bored.. Sure one place might have more clubs or more bars.. But to me thats not really appealling. I've been to clubs.. You dance with a bunch of skanks with probably every STD's thats known and probably a few that arn't. I guess it's hard to have your own opinion around here, without someone trying to persuede you otherwise...
-
that really makes no sense... I think id take Jackson over PC in my opinion. Less crowds, less expensive, and some of the sickest terrain in north america...
-
Thats awsome. I wish i could move out west, but that won't be for a few more years.
-
Where did i ever post i hated them. It takes alot for me to actually HATE somebody. I just said i enjoyed making FUN of them.
-
Please don't be one of those people. My friend and I always enjoy making fun of the kids with all matching gear, while we go up the lift. Most 06/07 stuff won't hit stores until august or september.

Getting first chair, pretty much gives you first dibs on anything on the mountain. First chair is epic on a pow day, as you have a whole mountain full of unslayed pow.

I went to a phillies giants game.. Watched the philles get blown out horridly, something like 15 or 17 to 4 or something. Bonds and two others hit 3 homers in a row. They had a bench clearing brawl... I could give two shits. Bonds still doesn't deserve the records he cheated to get.
-
"Clean now"... To me, he still shouldn't be given the records, because who knows how many balls were crushed when he was still on roids... Hundreds...
-
The cheater.. I'd rather go punch him in the face. He's no where near as good as the players back in the day. The bats they used back then were twice as heavy, and they still crushed 700+ balls, with out drugs. Bonds is over rated.

I've never tryed a pair of 32's but i've heard really really good reviews on them. Possibly going to pick them up when i get new boots.
