What day is that for? It def rocks.

I'd really love to get a plate and hard boot board, but I can't justify it with such lowsy trails around here. I need something I can take into the park so I'm not bored out of mind.

I understand what your saying about the landings, but riding into those jumps the coarses are too steep, you coulnt put in rails in, and the amount of injuries would be insane from booming down and hitting the jumps wrong. It would be a different story if there were drop-offs that got that steep, but the whole coarse being that steep just doesnt make sense, at least not around here, and certainly not replacing the existing parks.

Well they need a few connectors first.... but that would be real nice.

Went up to CB today and looked around. Seem to have a pretty good amount of snow down already. With at least another 3 more days of snow making there maybe a chance... though small, that more than 7 trails will be open for sat.

Oh, no worry, its funny to me after the fact.

I ride 15, -6 don't know the distance off hand. I think I may ride with a little more on the front binding. It's basically whatever you feel comfortable with and what type of riding. If you plan on doing switch riding you need a little more angle on your rear foot. Front is whatever you are comforatble with. The distance between is generally larger for park riding. Just play around a bunch and see what you like.

Yeah, I've googled these things and haven't found anything, associated with ski's. What are these things, or are you just BS-ing?

Did the same thing last night, couldnt get close though because all the gates were down. Went around the back side of the mountain and saw blue though. Attempted to take pics but the dinacell batteries (Yeah, I bought them at the flea market) died instantly so, sorry, maybe next time. I should be up again tommorow picking up my ticket though. So hopefully I will be able to see a bit better.

I ended up going to hunter. It was pretty sick, biggest mountain I have ridden. They only had 2 real trails to speak of, the 9 came from the 2 being renamed as it went down the mt. They had a little mini park with three rails, had to hike it but it was pretty solid. Huge c-box, s-rail, and straight rail. Kinda funny, because the stupid little miny park I rode on the first day of the season had sicker stuff than I will see all year at CB... man I need to move.

I don't see CB having more than 7 open. They may have the facilities to do it, but I think they would rather have a real solid base down on the first 7 and then worry about expanding. You will probobly see the rocket open within the week. Maybe some of the smaller begginner trails too.

Ohhhhhhh, sounds like fun. Well... when you can let us know more.

Actually, jpg is short for jpeg. There are also lots of other well supported image types, like, gif, tiff, and png. These all have their own pluses and minuses. Jpg is the most commonly used, because it has a very good compression rate. What this means is the data from the images is rearranged and compacted to save space. This degrades the quality, but not that much and it save big time on space. Bitmaps (BMP) on the other hand have no compression. They are simply a map of pixels. They are not compressed so tehy take a lot of room, and most people who do image work despise them, so most bmp images found on the internet are lousy. However, bmp are just as well supported by COMPUTERS though the message board and does not support it. If you download it, you can open the image in paint.

EWW Thats no good, I guess that means I'm going to have to wake up to go riding for a while.

When I went up a few weeks ago they had the battleship and hippo in the rhodo. They had the straight box in a parking lot, so I don't know where it is going.
-
Now the question is how many trails, I'm hoping for at least 7. We shall see though. It would be nice to see the park open, even if it was just some rails.
-
You could do it now, its all about how well you play it.

My friends in high school used to chill outside the local convienience store where. They would pack cigarettes to let everyone know they were 18 (although some of them weren't). Then when the middle schoolers asked them to go in the store, and buy them cigs, they would say, "Oh, I was just in there and it will look suspicious, if you give me the money, I'll go down the road to the gas station and pick some up." They would just run off with the money then. They made their cash, and tought the kids a lesson. The funny part is they did it all the time, and the kids never picked up on it.

Yeah, thats a little out of my price range. Though it looks to be pretty decent.

Finally, some good news, I can't wait.

I'm looking to take a trip up to New York state to do some riding. Was wondering if anyone had any suggestions as to which mountain to go to. Hunter has the most trails, windham is cheaper, than Hunter ($5) but has 2 less trails (as of tommorow) and belleayre has 4 less trails or so. Let me know what you think. Also, I'm not sure how far each of these mountains are, so if one is significantly further it would be nice to know.

Now, if I can only fit it in my dorm room...

Yeah, its a girl.... but she's photoshopped in
