Yeah, so we don't know the explosion was deadly, unless you understood what the newscaster was saying, but I didn't, and I would bet the people at ebaumsworld didn't either. Under that pretense it is pretty funny, the obsertity of how large the explosion was, and the fact that it was an accident. Also keep in mind the ebaumsworld thrives on this absurdity and pushing the border of what is acceptable to laugh at. Additionally when I saw it I did laugh at the moron who screwed up. I didn't think the danger factor, or the possible injuries (with the exception of the operator) or death of any of the people in the immediate proximity was funny. I'm all for proper use, respect, and saftey when dealing with stuff like this, but you better believe I'm gonna laugh at the guy who ignores warning, training, precautions and then ends up screwing up and hurting himself. As a small aside, I went to your site and was pumped to see the trebuche seciton, by little brother has built two so far, both had the axle about 4 ft tall. He wants to build one larger but we have nowhere to store it, and as it is we use up our entire yard firing it (we use baseballs).

Hahaha, triple black? Once you reach a certain level of insanity does it really need to have a different name? Or is it even that insane to start with?

Considering no one, not even the guy who worked ther over the summer has seen what the park is going to be like, or what the grooming is like, why don't we all wait. Likewise no one has seen what bb will be like this year. Seriously stop ragging on each other and the mountains for no reason. When they are open, and you have legit complaints, by all means complain. But if shawnee is redoing their park, don't say it will suck because it sucked before; thats why they are redoing it.

Wouldn't ingrown toenails have to do with misfitted boots? As for athletes foot... I would imagine I would imagine if you're wearing cotton socks its the same as not wearing socks at all. The sweat will sock out and in. Lovely thought I know

Well they did have these pics http://shawneemt.com/parkpipe/railpics.html

I don't really dig the NJ/NY bashing. I'm not from either place (I'm not really from anywhere, I moved my whole life because my dad was in the military). You have just as much a right to move out of the area as they do to move in. Increased population is the trend everywhere. I'm not trying to start problems or anything, its just you turned a fairly legit post into an attack on people moving into the area. I live in the same county, and honestly it's only done good for us, when we move out our house will probobly have tripled in value. Anyways more power to you for leaving CB. I wish I had the cash and the location to switch to Blue myself.

My bad, I always considered rangers the same as patrol. Anyways, I only saw one ranger ever to snowboard, but a quite a few first aid.
-
Yeah that makes me think he is a first aid.... there's more of them.

Looks as though they waxed it, thanks for the help, and I'll try and give my board a bit more attention
-
Yeah so I finally got my board worked on... I've ridden two full seasons on it without it being touched in terms of edges or base (that includes waxing). So my mom took it to Nestor's for a "full tune-up." Not exacltly sure what that entitled but they sharpened my edges and patched some holes in the base. Anyways, in an effort to treat my equipment better I bought some wax. The thing is I dont know if they waxed it during the full tune-up or not. My mom seemed to indicate that it was stone ground, but I'm not positive that happened. Also someone on the board mentioned after getting equipment stone ground it needs to be waxed heavily. Anyways... just wondering how to tell if the board needs to be waxed before the season. I would check out the receipt myself to see if they waxed but... it was a birthday present so yeah.

I went to class in sandals, it was cold, but not nearly as cold as I would like it. Fall it by far the worst season, its just a tease
-
I didn't even know there were still mountains that had no snowboard rules
-
Fall is God's way of mocking everyone on the east coast.

Yeah whats with their lame deadline? Not that it matters to me, because I'm a student... but still.

Ok, well first of all there is a contest... sorta http://www.webpagesthatsuck.com/ of coarse if you ask me... this guys web site sux as well, but he does have a few good things to say. All in all I dont think their website is that bad. I think it looks a lot cleaner than the old one. Content is key. Style should complement content, not overpower, or detract from it. Its certainly not overpowering it, maybe detracting a little, but its a decent site. As a user its easy enough to navigate and find what you want. The pages dont take forever to load etc. and... Not in any way to take away from the admin here... but most of the software they use yields the boiler plate design you see on this website. Not to mention this site was built from the ground up.... not a revamp of an existing site (althrough it looks like they are using templates so I dont think it was that hard to apply the new site). Anyways, its not THAT bad. Still this site looks better.

im interested in some of that stuff... im me at dthmtluncrn

Fun pic to take... almost died when he came off the end (no optical zoom on digi camera used)
-
Yeah there is no doubt that there was a lot of exagerration... but i was out there today and it stayed fluffy the whole day. It was slow but really soft... I wouldnt be suprised if they got 2 inches.

Hahaha... ive been off the slope for 3 weeks because of mono... i went twice this week but im not supposed to go fo another week cos my spleen might burst hahaha.... yeah... its hard to keep us away from the mountain
-
Meh, barf factor isnt really there. More prevelant is the thought that we are in danger of injury/death when we are out there. You like to think that your skills will carry you through anything but accidents happen. I just keep telling myself its more dangerous driving up to the mountain.
