Please post pictures of you standing with a 26" stance. There are non believers.

True but you do have to admit Dentons triple black is well deserving.

Today was GOOD! Probably closing in on 10 inches for this storm and it's still dumping. They are saying it will keep up through tomorrow.

I can help you out with another day in WP if thats what you decide to do. Actually it might be good for Copper as well. Little bit of snow today right as the lifts were closing. They are saying this front will bring snow daily until tuesday, totals aren't extremely promising, but better than nothing for sure. We've got the powder jones pretty bad right now, so even 3 inches would be pretty sick at this point.

Don't bother, if you need to ask you clearly aren't gangsta enough.
-
Why you would want to shoot at someone for theft in a public place is beyond me. Still I know of people carrying in both PA and CO.
-
Or at least have to endure a heap of wanna be ganstas taunting them relentlessly.

Why hasn't this worthless troll been removed yet?

Park is really good in this weather. You can see landing well, and wind isn't a huge problem.

They are calling for warmer temperatures starting on Tuesday. Maybe some pictures of good riding anyways coming tomorrow?

The poor athletes and filmers. Getting paid to do what they love. It's hard for me to walk in a store and find a video for less than $30. Maybe the town I live in sucks. I don't know.

We had spring conditions today Philly with corn snow, 38 degrees and bluebird skies.

Everyone has there own idea of what is good and gnar and all that. I don't know if I took you in the mushroom patch when you came to WP but that is my favorite spot to ride out of any resort anywhere. It's only good during storms because it's open and south facing so it just gets baked, but when it's good its SO good. Then again, I talk to people who have been in there on good days and they say it's bony or sketchy or whatever else. They would rather ski the Cirque. Which is still legit double diamond terrain, but generally just wide open steeps. I like the Cirque because the hike can mean untouched snow, but it isn't anything like ridding technical pillow lines to me. I don't know what the outback is like, but I've heard it's good. I'd be willing to bet others out there would find it to be pretty killer even if it isn't your favorite spot. Then again, maybe I'm just hoping somewhere is good because in the past month I've had 2 good days on the snow and hardpack conditions the rest of the time. Looks like another park day tomorrow

I've heard good things about the outback.

If you do end up traversing please look uphill at each turn and leave some room for people who aren't creeping down the mountain. You have every right to be there if you are in control, but be considerate for those moving faster. When you start linking turns and getting on the fall line, even if you are moving faster, giving faster traffic the curtousy look isn't as important.

If you drive like a grandma. More often than not though, there will be bad weather and you will get behind someone that is terrified of the switchbacks on the way down. So 45 min is a good bet. It definitely takes longer than you expect. You are in the mountains though, so it's not about rushing anywhere. Just sit back and enjoy the beatiful scenery, the crisp mountain air, and the texan fishtailing in front of you about to plow into a guard rail.

Wax boards if you aren't clearing the jumps. Detune if you are catching edges. If you are hitting jumps which require careful turns during approach you will need better edges, but if you are just bombing straight into the jumps, ala a terrain park, you don't really need super great edges for carving. If you free ride on ice/hardpack you may miss having tuned edges.

Mark is a friend I met though work. He is spending his first season in Co this year, he's from Buck's county. Last week steamboat got an absurd amount of snow, around 3 feet in three days, and Mark happened to visit. It was Mark's first time riding deep snow. He told me it was surreal, like being in a another state of mind. "It's an experience everyone has to try at least once in life". He's hooked.

If you don't want to ski powder, Colorado is prime right now. It's honestly like riding in the east only more intense terrain. We need cold, snow, and the wind to stop eating all the snow. I've been here for a month and haven't done anything cool on a snowboard outside of the park, which makes me a sad panda.

I have a confession to make. This TR does not suck. Good luck with the daddy business. At least your last big time out was pretty good eh?

BDK I've heard reports that you regularly wear as many as 8 layers. Maybe your $40 shell isn't as warm as you think it is.
