Sick!!! Can't wait to get back. Living scenario seems like it may be changing. Whatever though, as long as I'm riding everyday I don't really care that much about the details.

Next Wednesday is what my reliable source tells me.

How much trash talking went down on this forum about the quality of his work based on what they saw at snow? He's not allowed to answer that? If what he said is a lie, then it's messed up, if he speaks truth, I don't understand how you're going to knock it.
-
You get dicked over by someone big or small and you don't talk a LITTLE trash? He even said in that letter he fully expects the mountain to turn around and succeed. What more do you want?

Not seeing how it's all that unprofessional for the industry. Neptune got screwed on the some cash.

Camelback ski area. Clearly you need a local to show you the back bowls and hidden glades

I carry my point and shoot in a goggles bag. It's provides a little additional protection against wetness and I can clean the lens with the bag. I just put it in my chest pocket on my jacket. No problems yet except for poor battery life in the cold.

Not if you don't wear underwear Shopey, if you've never had a day where you had to pack it in early because you got hurt, you aren't pushing yourself as much as others here. That's fine, progress at your own rate. For those that are pushing themselves like that, it keeps them on the hill longer. So a short day turns into a longer day, and a break turns into a bruise. You still "man up" just as much, but you notch down the severity of each injury. Surprisingly being a snow sports aren't about being the biggest cowboy on the hill. It's all personal choice, but calling people pussies for not making the same choice is pretty lame. Also, on skis your tailbone is pretty protected. Bruised tailbones take me off the slopes every season. You would think I would learn my lesson and just get ass pads. Also, R2 is insane. Keep posting man.

Good stuff right here.

I'm thinking you should probably shut it.

I learned by working at pocono whitewater. Lots of stuff around if it rains, otherwise you wait for the Lehigh dam releases.

Bunch of guys throwing down in EZ's here. This is class 5 playboating. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ezfr1ZpCESE

It's a wave sport EZ. It's a playful river running boat. What that means is you will have good speed, be able to run class 1 - 3+ (I've seen lots of class 5 run in this boat). I'll sell it for $300 with the spray skirt. You can learn without lessons, but it's really important to learn some concepts well before you get yourself in too deep. I'd recommend on getting a weekend job at any of the Lehigh river guide companies. You will learn the basics, and meet some cool people to boat with. If you are interested in learning to boat this kayak is super fun. It won't let you learn bad technique in class 2 water like a creeker might, but it's not going to be burdensome like a full on playboat will be.

Wrong time to ask I know, but if anyone has $300 burning a hole in their pocket get at me.

Yeah, I considered the custom. I think it's a little soft for what I'm looking for.

Scenario: I've got some packed out boots, that I really like. I've got an all mountain board I like, but it has a rail that pulling out, and a base that's shot due to neglect on my part. I'm told a base grind may save it. I've got enough money to replace the boots or replace the board. I will likely have more money later. That may go to repair, or new equipment depending on how much I get. Figuring on $200-$400 for either the boots or the board. If you guys have tips on how to get cheap boots that I can try before I buy, I'm more than open for ideas. Not trying to do the BC.com thing for boots, because I'm lazy and already have a pile of stuff I haven't sent back. I've never put inserts in my boots. Will this close up some of the packed out space, or is it just for a better fit when the boot is new. Shop guys, whats the story on repairs to rails when it's pulling away on the sidewall side of things? Just trying to make some smart choices with my money, and I trust you guys.

I've heard serious issues about the general quality of production coming from the Lib skis.
-
When were you hitting trees that I wasn't looking?
-
Wait I heard cotton was a killer base layer though. What are your opinions about cotton R2?
-
Well that's not totally true, but for the most part, you are right.
