  1. There once was a funny post in this thread, but now it's gone.
  2. ... weak. I know you can do better than that.
  3. I hope you aren't joshing.
  4. PM GrilledSteezeSandwhich for details.
  5. We could go to steamboat if they get snow while you are up here, but honestly it isn't anything special. Don't worry too much about the bumps. If you decide on Jackson though, I'll try my hardest to get up there.
  6. ^^ Foursquare. Big and puffy with fur and no ridiculous prints.
  7. The roots?
  8. Looking smooth Dan.
  9. Haven't been there, but I'm pretty sure I could live in Jackson for a couple months with that kind of money.
  10. Well there's bound to be some kind of photo slutting going on JL, no worries of that.
  11. That is phenomenal.
  12. I don't know the specifics of my work schedule, but basically I work nights and have off during the week. So I can ride everyday with you, but will have to jet early (like 3pm) on the days I work. So, in light of Nick and Jordan's situation you should book over a weekend.
  13. Phillycore, even if it's just you I'll tour the front range mountains with you except vail resorts.

    help with new set up

Stay away from BOA. 32 or Salomon are the only boots you need to look at.
  15. When has Doug posted anything fresh, ever? Just put him on ignore and PASR gets so much better.
  16. Not really a fan of down puffs. I get the layer idea, I just want a good shell, just don't know what specs I should be looking for. So 20k-30k water resistance. Should I be looking for lower or higher numbers as far as breathability? Obviously I don't want to get all swampy, but I would prefer to open the jacket when I get to warm, than be stuck with a shell that doesn't keep the wind out. I've got a pretty nice softshell for the warmer temps. So this jacket is pretty much just for the cold and really cold days.
  17. What kind of breathability/waterproof ratings should I be looking at for a full on cold weather jacket. I'm going to be in negative degree temperatures in deep snow. I know the features I want, I just need to figure out the ratings.
  18. You're a fibber.
  19. Eh, I thought it might be easier. Looks like a it's a bunch of getting on and off buses to do it that way. Cheaper, maybe, but kind of complicated. Taken from http://www.city-data.com/forum/denver/156531-dia-amtrak.html When you get to Fraser you can take the free shuttle or I could meet you guys depending on how many people and how much luggage.
  20. Home James is solid, but you might also want to look into the amtrak transfer. Fraser is minutes away from WP and the train would be a great way to get to WP as opposed to a van. Just a thought.
  21. Karma says you have to remember the ear plugs for your roommate (or victim however you look at it).
  22. If you plan on spending more than 1 day at WP it would be silly to stay anywhere but the town of winter park. Berthoud pass does close in big storms and you don't want to be stuck away from the resort, and it's just a long haul to get here from anywhere else that has lodging. No reason not to book together unless you like paying more.
