Blue is good because: -1082 vert -Long sustained pitch slopes -Long (insert type of trail you like) run. Blue sucks because: -They haven't matched their downhill capacity with their lift capacity, so when it's crowded, the slopes are a mad house. -Their conditions aren't as good as JF or CB. I think grooming and wind exposure are to blame. -Atomic Jeff skis there almost everyday. It's a pretty good mountain for what the Poconos have to offer. You should probably give it a try and let your own experiences guide you. It's certainly not a "small" mountain by Pocono standards.

Similar lincoln loop.... http://youtube.com/watch?v=OgvaKZau8ug I'd say it looks identical to a stock lincoln loop only he's throwing a bit of a shifty halfway through. Except... he's actually rotating his body a little like you would for a rodeo then counter-rotating to make the landing. The front half looks sick, and I'd say it's a slick piece of style added to a trick, but the end where he flings himself back into position to make the landing makes me say it looks like a sloppy lincoln loop.

Our (over)use of technology and especially the need to get the next new thing is a huge problem for the environment. The pollution created during the making and use of the product aside. We discard massive amounts of circuit boards which are non-biodegradable and which contain mercury, lead and other nasties. Our current solution to the problem is to send our technology trash over to china where they have primitive methods of extraction the usable metals to resell. The end result is horrible exposure for the workers (skin/eye/lung damange) and ground which will be contaminated for hundreds of years. So while I'm all for being green, I'm not going to feel guilty about using flouro wax in such small amounts, when I live a lifestyle effected so heavily (both directly and indirectly) by technology.

I highlighted to make it easier for you... It's not a polished edit from the entire season. It's a one day edit, to get people excited about riding and to show whas BB has going on. They heard you in the other thread where you complained about landing 90, and they heard your complaints about music there as well. They clearly didn't care what you had to say, and went about making their edits the way they wanted. I don't want to hear you babble the same tired complaints every time they post a vid. If you post more complaints (especially while being a dick about, which I'm fairly certain is the only way you can communicate) I will take away your voice. I'm not going to argue with you anymore. Had we not already heard the same comments, and had they been constructive criticism more than elitist blabbering then perhaps I would allow it. If poop contributed anything besides negativity towards this board, I would probably allow it. If he posted up videos of his own riding, or his crews, then I would allow it. I want to keep seeing more media posted on this site. I don't want to stifle that process because people like poop are dicks. TWS has it's own moderating policy, and we have ours. Specifically, I don't him constantly ripping on people when he brings nothing to the table himself. Whomever started saying that Method is getting into politics with his posts in this thread is just as misinformed about policies as poop is about the constitution. Perhaps it's just the quality of the snow, but I got cord on my first run and it really wasn't that great. The trenches were shallow, there were borderline hardpack sections on the connector for come around into main street. On top of that there were still death cookies on trails that didn't even get blown on. I had a blast and I wouldn't complain about the conditions, because even for midwinter that was fun snow to be on, but... to say the grooming was perfect... get real. Ride CB for first tracks, or Sno anytime of the day and find fresh cord, or JF/BB.

Bottom line CB is not a local friendly mountain. You can be a local there, and there are perks. It's not a mountain geared towards making the local pass holder happy. IE you are a pass holder and you are interested in skiing before Christmas. Apparently CB feels that the voices of those locals aren't loud enough to warrant a change, as they keep getting enough business to be happy. I do know they watch and read this board, but to a large extent they have their business plan figured out, and "can't please everyone." That being said, in the past there have been breakdowns in communication and what part of the CB organization thought was the case was not. Or even the policy was changed on the fly. Since the CB folks don't read this every day, I suggest calling and voicing your frustrations, since it will get to them much faster than posting it here. You may find it's a dead end, but they may change their minds or tell you whomever you spoke with was incorrect.
