Judging by the URL I'm going to guess he or someone he knows is hosting it.

Thats awful method. I really feel for you man. I'm glad you will be sticking around. Stay strong and GET BETTER!

I'd really like to get a boot dryer but I just don't have the budget for it. In the meantime I just prop all of my stuff on/against heater vents. Sure it will make whatever room smell like gloves/boots but at least my stuff is dry.

Any clue what the feature list will be for rhodo? The bumps on lower cleo were a good time, hopefully they will be around for a little while!

Don't offroaders worry about their trucks, they will get dirty, scraped up and even.... BROKEN. You buy a jib stick to destroy. So, you know how much it's going to cost you, it's a lot of fun, and it's another way to progress. It's not impossible to get around with detuned edges, but typically you just spend more time in the park because freeriding hardpack with the detuned edges isn't that fun. Also there is no need to file the edges as they will not get sharp, and having them dulled is beneficial when on rails/boxes. I patch the really big gashes in my base (well zaldon does) and I don't worry too much about the small stuff. I wax my base, but not a ton.

You shouldn't have to force them at all. I'm 98% sure the screw threading is standard across all manufacturers. Is it difficult to tighten from the start, or is the problem it goes in 3/4 of the way and then gets really hard? If the later is the case your screws are too long. You can either grind them down or purchase new shorter screws. Regardless a shop will be able to help you.

Twintipper was straight lining, dude was make big aggressive turns.

Your hands and feet get cold because your core is cold. In order to keep your core body temperature up less blood is sent to your extremities. To keep your hands and feet warm, wear appropriate gloves/boots/socks but also wear sufficient (what may seem overkill) layers for your torso, and don't let the heat escape from your head!

Thats closed as of right now. Also there were a set of 3 rollers above the rainbow box. Pretty much everything is the same, execept rearranged and a new jump at the bottom (maybe 3 feet long).

Please keep the played out/stolen jokes in the blue mountain forum.
-
Ask any blue mountain Park Crew member if it was up to them would there be park passes. While you're at it ask them if the steps are doing the trick. You're right, I couldn't figure stuff out myself, but my opinions are backed and in many cases based on opinion of the majority of the freestyle community.

Not if the people who manage it don't ride parks and/or aren't up on the scene.
-
'Nuff said. I'm not going to prentend to know how to safely operate a race course, please don't pretend to know how to safely manage a terrain park.

I think Hump will open for the weekend, as well as big poc.

Unless you can't move after a fall GET OUT OF THE LANDING. As bad as whatever you did hurts, you don't want to add a second injury to your list of pains. I ate it hard at JF on saturday. Knuckledragger was the only one to see it, and even though my whole body hurt (bad) for the rest of the day (week?) and it knocked the wind out of me, I was able to clear the landing.

That hand rail looks pretty serious. Does it even have a lip?

The announcers are awful, and the whole vibe of the X-games is just bad to me. EXTREME SPORTS... give me a break. I'd rather watch vans triple crown (is this still around?) half pipe any day. The format is better and you could actually keep up with the riders over a couple weeks as opposed to a one week deal. I caught the freestyle snowmobiling, which was basically a more graceful (due to the weight of the sleds) version of freestyle moto x. Still pretty corny in my opinion. I don't think I will ever get into any freestyle engine powered sports. Didn't see the slopestyle or best trick.

Asp possibily Dromedery??? I'm guessing Cliffy will be open, but I talked with a ski patrol who wasn't so sure.
-
Well considering the small pipe isn't open, yes. I've seen plenty of skiers ride the small pipe so take that for whatever it's worth. The bigger pipe is going to be scarier, so the small pipe might be worth it just to get comfortable. It's not THAT big though.

Eh, if it's just talk, then I'll be pissed again.

At first I thought this would make the stevenson extremely sucluded, but with the new hotel coming in, that actually would be a great idea. I don't see it happening under current management, but it would basically be an area the size of BC with multiple lifts seperating two halfs of a mountian... all park. I'm thinking it would be WAY to crowded for my liking, but they could make OODLES of money.

It isn't as smooth, and it takes way more work to hold your edge.

Big pocono was getting pounded with guns, the trail above it (marc anthony?) had a good 2.5 ft wind lip at noon. Cliffy was also getting lots of snow. The snow was really good where there was wind protection. In the exposed areas it was typical wind blown hard pack, but during the day it wasn't anything to complain about, I don't envy anyone that will be there tonight though.
