  1. Congrats to all who went, and pwn3d. Now if we could only get the results from BC....
  2. Pharaoh is easy. Its out in the sun, and it has no wind protection. Meaning it will melt and then the loose stuff blows away right away. On a super cold or super warm day pharaoh will be great. On borderline freezing day, pharaoh cold go either way, depends on traffic. Almost invariably pharaoh will be covered in ice from 5:30 until close. It could almost be a black, not because of the pitch, but just because of how bizarre the conditions are. Maybe that would keep more n00bs off it... but then again, the insane crashes are fun to watch from the lift
  3. Even on good days that area is all muckedy muck. Don't really know why, but it's always bad.
  4. There are some nice pictures of bear creek taken by bsell located here http://www.paskiandride.com/forums/index.p...r&user=293&st=0 Most of them appear to have come from their slopestyle comp, so there is some pretty cool stuff in there. My favorite is the guy airing off the massive wall.

    4frnt skis?

My friend used to be a rep for 4frnt skis I believe. I'm not sure if he still is, next time I see him I'll ask.

    4frnt skis?

Agreed ebay is the way to go. I spent 265 on this years burton jussi which I would have spent at least 425 for in the store... and that was on "sale."
  7. Ditto on the pool table. I don't really have anywhere to shoot during the summer...

    all 33

Things were real nice today. All the blacks were in good condition. Try to get out today or tommorow if you can.
  9. I wouldn't expect things to be as nice. This snow is disgusting. Not the fact that we are getting it, just the weight and moisture level of the snow is gross to me. If you want non slushy stuff, then you will be disappointed. I could be wrong, but thats my read of the current situation.
  10. Yeah, thats one of the spots I've been checking

  12. The same reason they don't have any bump runs or tree runs. Though I think a really nice park would bring in far more than they would ever lose in law suits. Espeacially since injuries are really a matter of negligence of the user when there are big signs everywhere saying how dangerous everything is.
  13. No doubt, but then again, I don't know that I could do 40 to 50 days at boulder either. The argument was, put aside vert and pitch, and look at what they've done with the place. I would have to say, bear does more with even less.
  14. Dude, if your putting the actual real estate aside I say best mountain HAS to go to bear. They have an insane park, that is still in good condition. They are still open. NASTAR midweek. Super friendly employees. I actually noticed they were nice, haven't seen that anywhere else. The people at CB are nice to me, but they also see me everyday. They didn't treat me as nice when they didn't know me. No one at jf/bb made me feel special. Plus, the lodge was amazing. I was quite amazed at how much bear does with so little.
  15. My habit is reminding people to use spell check!
  16. I think they had just as much pitch as anything at CB
  17. Frost skis "bigger" than boulder by a lot. The blacks all the way on the right side are a lot of fun. There were muliple headwalls to get some air off of, thats more than I can say about any black at CB , or blue for that matter.
  18. Dude, boulder is tiny, its a crappy mountain to trail ride at. You would be lying to yourself if you think differently.
  19. Eh I have something scoped out on the west side.
  20. No more bad vibes man, this snow will last us into may and, all mountains will remain open with full coverage
  21. ... on your Nice race skis? Are you sure... I was thinking about putting the bindings back on the crap board. Nevertheless I'd be more happy to show you...
  22. I was thinking with this new snow its time to try some tree "runs" I've been scoping out....
  23. My brother uses a biking headlamp on the slopes. It has an attachment that is meant to clip into a bike helmet but it works for his winter helmet as well. It runs off a battery pack he stuff in his book bag, and its re-chargable. It's much brighter than any type of hiking headlamp you will find.
  24. I've never been there but from what I've heard there park has lots of features but they are setup poorly. Other than that it is an undersized mountain, without any real trail riding.
