I can't take credit for that one, someone else on the board used that earlier this week

I hear skiing is good theropy for greiving the loss of a pet . Maybe you should try that angle.

You weren't there, but my brother tucked the whole thing, top to bottom, and just went straight. Only turned when the trail did, and when he stopped at the lift at the bottom. Needless to say, he was moving be the end I might add though, that montage "skis" bigger than CB, and maybe even blue. When you take the full run, its seems rather large, but even the north face seems "big" because you start, get headwall immediately, then when the headwall finishes, you are at the lift, none of the runout I'm used to, which is really nice.

Do you two know each other outside of the board? What are the derbys? Oh, btw, Congrats
-
Well, whatever it is, a full mountain that was open/fast would be nice. The full mountain runs were a blast, it was just a hassle to do them.
-
Was that from your daughter or some of the bunnies you were picking up
-
Well, the lack of a full mountain lift kinda sucked too. Apparently the full mountain quad is even slower than taking the northface lift and then the upper mountain lift, but it was a pain anyways.
-
Congrats on making it, and ski fast!

Justo has complimented blue on there park, several times. He even said in the Blue vs. Bear thread something about don't pass judgement on Blue's park too soon or something along those lines. I think all along, he has just pointed out where the park can improve. It's obvious he likes riding there, because he skis there pretty frequently. Learn to man up Jeff, and let your mountain take some flak sometimes

Nice work dude, now its time to tear it up at states

Sounds like graffiti, but I don't know anything about it. Honestly, I don't. Just a guess.
-
I have to assume there is a typo in there.

I ride at CB alot (almost everyday). Just look for the PASR stickers on my helmet. No risk of me being 15 or trying to show you up.

Its put in rotation automatically. Also just so everyone can see here is the full size picture:

Create a new album and then upload the pictures into that album. They will be viewable through the gallery, and put into rotation for the picture of the day on the home page.

I really don't mind a cold attitude from management in terms of friendlyness. I don't want a friend from managers, I want a mountain that is run well. Quite frankly the mountain that is less friendly to tourists is probobly going to have better quality skiing/riding. I don't know how many convos there have been about CB not stepping up in the park department because they cater to the weekend crowd. Similar things have been said about CB letting some runs develop bumps, or heaven forbid, they install hay bails for bumps

Nah, each board should have its own personality, you can't reuse stickers. Half the fun is collecting them. When I get my new board, no stickers are going on it, until the top sheet starts getting messed up (which based on how many times I've been run over in the lines at CB means it should take about a week).

I think it's really great that montage does that for their season pass holders. I wish more mountains would reward their loyal customers in some way or another. I don't neccessarily think that keeping the mountain closed for the passholders is needed but its cool nonetheless. Sure it sucks if your not from that mountain, but, I would hardly take a vacation to ride anywhere in the poconos, so the weekend or nights would be the only time I hit up montage. Certainly beats CB's attitude towards season pass holders.

Its more than just going fast. The better the condition of your base the better you turn. Why a new board? Yours is in good condition. I don't think you have out grown it. Even so, it's no excuse to misuse the board, it will still be a trusty backup, or even a board you keep forward stance on, or any number of things.

Ok, this is different than delaming. That is a chipped top sheet. It's not nearly as bad. For something like that I would just put some epoxy, or something over it, just to water proof and not worry about it. Delaming is where the glue that holds your top sheet on lets go and the top sheet lifts up.

With a snowboard it's a real big deal, so I assume its the same with skis. Major concerns are the core getting moisture in there, and swelling, which destroys the integrity of the core, and is irreversable. I would contact the manufacturer immediately and see what they will do. 90% of the time with snowboards delaming is a result of poor construction and they will replace or fix for free. Definetly check it out. I believe it was discordial who repaired his own board, I will try and dig up a link that thread. It would also be nice to know how his repair help up. Heres that thread about repairing delamination with epoxy.

First of all, we specifically asked him to share his opinion. So yes is going to rant and yu will like it . Second, he had a reason to be there, he wasn't just using up your lift time he was racing, and as he stated, he doens't plan on heading back any time soon. Also, just because its ideal snowmaking doens't mean its ideal skiing/riding. Ice balls aren't exactly the nicest stuff to ride on, so its all fine and dandy that conditions will be better in the morning, but that doesn't help you immediately.

I can't remember how cold it got, but if it refroze it will make the conditions seem like there wasnt any grooming, and the trail is totally skiied out. Pharoah is particularly nasty in the evenings, it catches wind all day, way to many n00bs ride it no tree cover from the sun, so it melts and refreezes. If you want to enjoy pharoah get there first thing. On week nights its not uncommon to see lots of patrol and rangers compared to customers, because the rangers/patrollers want to work during the week, so they can get their own recreational skiing in while volunteering. Weekdays are the least busy time so, less work, and more play. At least that is what I have noticed.

The first link works but not the second, the second is a link to a image not a video file.
