Definable scary getting caught in a snow squall. No matter how far you are off the road, it’s not safe.

Travel day was Saturday, we met at the Park and Ride off William Penn Highway at 3am. I got about 4 hours sleep the night before, but I guess I was one of the lucky ones, as many didn’t sleep at all. Bus didn’t show up, so trip leader had to pull a few strings to get another bus. Consequently, we made it to the airport by the skin on our teeth. Consequently, no breakfast. Plane ride uneventful. Bus stopped at grocery/ liquor store. Food here is expensive 😳. First day was sunny, warm, lots of soft snow and bumps, a little exhausting, and I think I was dehydrated from the previous day, so was exhausted after 3 hours!

Oz definitely does not turn much, and Fran is a trip.

I’m definitely going to try and get more weekend sessions in next season.

Unfortunately, my last day of the season at Blue was yesterday. Working today and tomorrow. Then it’s gonna rain for 3 days. Leaving for Montana Saturday, so need to get ready for that. It was a great season, I have no complaints, they did a great job with the snowmaking and grooming.

What a fun day! Nice to put more faces to names. I will definitely hang out with you guys more if you promise to stay late and get roudy!

My husband is partial to Aleve, I think ibuprofen works much better. I will also use aspirin instead of the ibuprofen for injuries sometimes.

We were getting on the lift and heard the commotion. Turned around and saw GSS and JL. We wondered what happened, glad no one got hurt.

They started the 6 pack around noon, kept quad open. Then around 4 pm back to quad only. I keep hearing via grapevine 3/20 is last day, but nothing official.

I’ll probably be there Sunday.

I skipped today in favor of tomorrow. Looked at the webcams around 2 pm. 6 pack line looked long

Probably depends on how far you’re going. We have AAA plus, they towed my husband from I 81 right off 80 all the way to just up the road from our house for nothing.

I saw the backed up traffic from 309 north on my way to Blue yesterday. Was glad I don’t take 22 to get there except on Sunday morning.

I had such a fun day there today. Not the best conditions, but definitely not the worst. After the 70 degrees and crazy wind and rain, they pulled it off and made some decent conditions. 👍👍

I may suggest Gore for our girls trip next year. Was there once about 15 years ago, had a lot of fun. They’ve put tons of improvements in since that time.
