I was really hoping for Upper Main tomorrow. There’s a ton of snow on it. Figures, more open terrain on Thursday, and I’m working. That’s ok, I’m off Friday. And maybe some real snow 👍👍

Had a great day. Lots of leftover Christmas cookies this morning, glad I got the skis sharpened. Sun was warm, no wind. Perfect ski day, then a fun tailgate. Got lots of runs in

I think this year is worse than last. Stores were packed before Christmas, no one wearing a mask. I started wearing a mask when I go to the store again, even though I’m fully vaxed. We are getting a lot of really sick younger folks that need to be admitted to the hospital. Guess what, not vaccinated. And every hospital in the area is packed, people wait in the lobby for HOURS shoulder to shoulder. For really stupid stuff. It’s just amazing to me.

Any ski area is relying on seasonal help. They should have affordable housing for the people working there. All these places have relied on foreigners who will work for peanuts. The savings were not passed on to the visitors at the resorts. Now COVID has changed everything, and they can’t get help. What goes around comes around. One of my kids worked for Vail at PC/ Canyons couple years ago. They were treated like dirt.

Ugh. So over this weather. God and Jesus, please throw the skiing health care workers a bone. We’re at the end of our ropes.

Got my skis sharpened for the ice next week

No lifelines at all. I just felt like too many newbs in the fog and beginners on soft snow. If I had to rent skis and buy a ticket, I sure wouldn’t pick a day like this.

12/30, a continuation of 12/29, I guess. Foggy, soft snow. Skied from about 830-1030, got 10 runs in. Would have stayed longer, but it seemed the masses awoke, went to Blue Mountain and rented skis. I hope everyone goes back to work and school next week. Indiggio, were you there today, thought I saw you guys on Main Street
