There were some employees picking up the trash under the new 6 pack today. Also there was some fast food trash in lower lot, I noticed. Not nearly as many trash cans in the lot as used to be. I get so annoyed with folks that leave their trash in the lot.

It’s supposed to be cold Thursday, so I think conditions will be good. Midweek so hoping not too crowded.

I got a 3 day Epic NE pass.

I forgot it’s MLK weekend.

I’ll ski weekends later in the season.

Looks empty for a Sunday. Apparently, Blue was crazy crowded all weekend.

Sounds like a good plan.

I’m sure every place was a disaster today because there was a bit of snow on the ground.

I’m heading out that way this week, and thought we would give it a try. Anyone ever been? I did notice they have some high speed lifts.

That really stinks. I got a 3 day Epic NE local pass. Spent a day at Roundtop and going to Whitetail Thursday. Roundtop seems like a nice little mountain, staff was friendly, and they’re 100% open now. That being said, I only got the pass because my son lives out that way, we can ski together when I visit, and I have a free place to stay overnight. I always like checking new places out, but wouldn’t get an Epic pass otherwise.

Does Switch still have a big skid mark in the middle. Didn’t even ski it Thursday, looked a little too… skiddish. It’s my favorite trail, too.

Just read lift tickets sold out until 4 pm at Blue.

He’s not the president yet. And camelback was never great.

I considered Sunday, but think I’ll pass. This little bit of snow will have folks coming out of the woodwork. Gonna wait until Monday.

I was talking to a patroller that works at an unnamed Vail resort here. They said they were “borrowing” ski patrollers from other resorts for resorts out west. I just wondered how that could possibly even compare…

Yeah, saw their stock is losing money. Seriously, just pay your workers a living wage. Ski patrollers in these areas have a lot of responsibility. It takes a lot of practice and education. I feel bad for anyone injured there.

That fence is a big PIA when it’s busy. There is a big drop off there, so I’m sure people will get hurt if they remove it.

I’m sure Camelback is making bank with their water parks. They don’t care about the skiing.

The pond was rather deep yesterday.

Another fun day at Blue. Nice frozen cord everywhere, along with some cookies, depending on what side of the trail you were on. Saw the resident bald eagle couple flying about, and the juvenile.

That was some fun. They also did that TCS before they had snowmaking on it. We skied natural snow/ bumps for days. It was fun.

They were fun. I suck at those seeded bumps.
