The conditions at Blue are consistently inconsistent. I just tell myself it’s making me a better skier. And it keeps things interesting, ya never know what you’re gonna get. But seriously, snowmaking and grooming are so much better than they were 10 years ago.

Have to make the best of what we have. No trips out west, going to Vermont in February and maybe late March.

Nope. It was sleeting, and we had a very long tailgate yesterday. We’ll make up for it tomorrow 😎

Skied from 930-130. Snow was amazing! Skiers left of Main Street was like butter. We only stopped because we couldn’t see anymore with ice build up on goggles. The 6 was down in the afternoon. They said due to ice buildup.

Razors and Switchback were sweet today. A little disappointed Main Street and Sidewinder closed. It was a fun day.

Yeah, lifties don’t get paid enough to put up with bullshit. And probably no matter what they do someone doesn’t like it.

I’ll ride up with someone I don’t know if I’m alone. 3 people tops on 6 pack, as long as we all keep masks on. The attendants always ask first.

If a bunch of you go, stay at Chets. Bar/ restaurant right on the property. It’s not fancy, but price is good. And where else can you stay at a hotel on a dirt road?

When I got my second shot, I took Motrin on my way to Blue, skied all day and felt good. Took Motrin again in the afternoon and before bed. Maybe I felt good because I was in my happy place.

If you’re a season pass holder, and using buddy pass, I think you can both use VIP line. I didn’t realize it until later in the day last week when mine was being used.

Yeah, lines were a little long today, but the traffic directors kept the VIP line moving. Heard some grumbling from folks that don’t have season passes. Oh well, maybe they should buy a season pass. Switchback definitely ROTD. Challenge was absolutely terrifying. Cookies all the way across and all the way down. Otherwise, conditions were pretty good.

Happy to report everything fixed! We had to move a bunch of stuff, clean up a bit. Problem was outside. BCSWA came out pretty quickly. Got the area plunged with their super plunger. I was having nightmare visions of pipes being dug up, etc. They said if it happens again, they’ll have to snake it out to the street.

Ugh. That was probably expensive. We’ve had to replace ours twice. Our plumbing is a real adventure. Not sure what the people building the house were thinking.

Yikes! Our extension ladder is long gone. I can’t even stand it when John cleans the gutters, and all of our gutters are only one story up. I’m the ladder holder, and it causes me much anxiety.

Yeah, the older you get, the more evil ladders become.

Gotta laugh. Thank God hubby can usually fix anything that breaks around here. Except the roof, I told him that was definitely off limits- too steep. We’re going to make sure it’s nothing in the house, then call BCWSA to check outside.

Well, I’m not going anywhere today except Lowe’s and ORE rentals. Major sewer issue at our house 😫.

People seemed to arrive after 1030. Early am was great, but a lot of areas turned into piles of sugar. Ended up lapping Razors a bunch of times.

I request a reading in the parking lot at Blue.

It’s a lot easier to snake the line using VIP line 😎

Was at Blue past 3 days. A few of the lifties consistently calling people out for not wearing masks.

But I want to ski Wednesday... I need it to avoid going into crisis mode.
