While we’re on the topic of things closing, all state, local parks in Bucks and Montgomery County are closed.Perkiomen Trail closed. Liquor stores are closing tomorrow.

The whole scene at the Philadelphia airport leaving was poor planning on their part. They knew a large number of people would be checking ski and snowboard equipment, not enough staff to check them, and the kiosks were probably from 1987. I get to the airport at 230 am, and don’t get to security until 4 am.

I just wasn’t impressed.

Seems strange that people are so freaked out, yet will go look at cars. Maybe they think they’ll get a discount

Our flight left at 5 am. They did not have enough people to check our bags. Hardly any of the kiosks worked to self check. The people that used the working kiosks got charged twice on their credit cards. Having to pay to take skis with us. Ran out of overhead space when the plane was no where near full. On the way home, some people’s skis ended up in Dallas, not Philadelphia. They did get their skis next day via Fed ex

We did some stocking up February 29th. 10% off at liquor store that day. Beer store was still well stocked Thursday

We flew American to Utah with the ski club this year. Doubt I will ever fly them again, unless I have absolutely no choice or the flight is almost free.

I’m more worried about some nut case walking in trying to shoot all of us.

I am taking it seriously, and yes, it has nothing to do with Y2K. I just feel the media is making it 10 times worse than it should be. It’s a lot of common sense. Wash your hands, don’t touch your face, and don’t go to work when you’re sick.

Mostly old people with serious underlying health problems. Sorry, I’m on a rant with this insanity. I’m older than most of you, does anyone remember Y2K?

Hope so. I work this weekend, so missing closing day, on top of their last minute decision to close this week. I really love spring skiing and tailgating after the clocks spring ahead, pretty much robbed of that this year. Blue doesn’t give a rat’s ass about Covid 19, it’s all money. More people die of the regular flu every year. The media has totally had a field day with this. Went to Aldi today to buy a few things, the shelves were practically bare!!! WTF people get a grip.

I have to work this weekend. Next weekend we’ll probably be under quarantine. See ya next season.

I was going down the turnpike tonight after SKIING AT ELK. You could see Blue had all the lights on 🤔

Not really on the topic of season passes, but I was really irritated Blue closed during the week. Really?! Even Bear Creek is still open! Went to Elk today, and coming home this evening, I could see all the lights on at Blue, for what?

They will do this end of season, but usually with s bit more warnings.

Got there later than I wanted to, got on the snow about 945. Thought the conditions weren’t that great at first, too much ice/ mashed tators mix. Things did improve. I’m trying to really improve in the bumps, for some reason Blues bumps really intimidate me. I thought, great it’s gonna be warm this week, perfect. Now they’re closed every day I’m off. 😡😡😡😡. And I work next weekend, too. 😡😡😡😡😡. I did see something funny. People parked next to me this morning all had masks on. Seriously, if you’re that worried, stay home.

Hahahaha. Just reading this now. Last Thursday was pretty bulletproof. Got worse as the day went on. First run down Challenge was decent, by afternoon was scary. Thanks GSS for calling out the people throwing their trash in the parking lot.
