What made you go there?

No Blue for me this weekend😫. Well, maybe I can sneak in a Saturday am trip. Going to visit my Mom Saturday afternoon in Jersey. Sunday going hiking at Worlds End.

Today was wonderful. Great skiing and friends, good food and drink in the lot. That is my trip report.

I’ll be there tomorrow am. I think an early opening again today for the Races. Maybe only the people involved in the competition were on the lifts that early. Apparently, theses races were a big deal, and if Blue is making money, I’m OK with it.

Glad you enjoyed it. I’ve been there twice, both times an ice fest. When I drive that far, I just keep going and go to Elk.

Stop complaining and just turn your phone upside down. You millennials or Gen X or whatever you are, are always complaining. Everything doesn’t always have to be perfect.

It was impressive to see what the avalanches did to the area on way to Alta this week. They were still posting intermittent closures, mostly at night to remove debris.

Finally did a shotski

Last day, back to Deer Valley. Not sure why you guys hate on this place, it’s actually really nice, and has amazing variety for all ski levels. Went all the way up to Empire Mountain and worked my way across the top. Met up with some other folks from the trip on Flagstaff Mountain, did some runs, then went over to Bald Mtn. for some runs. Did runs at the bottom when we got tired. This was a great trip, Utah is a beautiful place. The weather has been beautiful. Sunny except for Alta day, when it snowed all day. Will definitely return

Maybe Monday. I get home from Utah late Saturday evening, chill at home Sunday.

Did Sundance today. Terrain was ok, but the scenery more than made up for it

Alta today. On the way there, I was thinking Holy crap, I’m way out of my league here. Snowed most of day, bumps, bowls, my legs were screaming by 2 pm. Took a spectacular fall, but nice and fluffy, so didn’t hurt🙂
