So over this warm weather. Someone asked me today if I was enjoying the beautiful weather. I wanted to rip her face off.... I know that’s not very nice, just can’t help it.

I found 80 bucks on the floor of a bar many years ago. Spent it all at the bar, bought my friends drinks the entire night. Found $5 on the floor at BJs today

I’d be more likely to drive right through NJ into Pa or NY to ski.

Sounds like a serious clinic. One where you can really learn something. Every clinic I’ve taken around here spend way too much time stopping mid mountain and chatting, and I feel I’m never in the right ability level.

I understand what they’re trying to do. It’s just not the same as being outside, with conditions that can vary daily or hourly.

I’d probably try it, but only in the summer.

Yes, I’m sure Vail keeps them on a short leash. It makes me sad Vail has bought up all these smaller mountains.

I think I’d get nauseous doing that.

Challenge had lots of cookies, although did improve later in the day.

Was a fun day. Main Street ROTD. Challenge not nearly as good as yesterday. Lazy improved later in the day. Even took two runs down Burma.

Probably not this weekend. This morning, definitely.

Were you in lower lot around 330? We were just heading out. Snow was really nice all day. ROTD definitely Challenge, what a difference from Sunday. NM and Razors closed, but Dreamweaver pretty nice. No tailgating due to high winds, ate inside, but it was all fun. I left just as buses started pulling in. Another session tomorrow before the 60 degree weather this weekend.

It’s going to be too muddy for yard work.

Yes, it was nice to put faces to all the names on here. I will definitely do more visiting with all of you. And yes, conditions today were scary. Only decent run NM to DW. We just kept lapping that until about 1 pm, then I guess the secret was out. Run got crowded, so we called it a day. Skiing again Wednesday.

I would probably check that place out. Went to Liberty Snowflex, summer 2013, I think. It was weird seeing heat lightning everywhere while skiing. And the rope tow kicked my ass, I was covered with bruises on the way home.

What?! I thought only Boomers still wrote checks!

Thanks for all the great advice, everyone. I’ll write a report wherever I end up. Still voting for Powder.

Hopefully enough people are interested in Powder to make it worthwhile for shuttle. I could always rent a car, if a couple other folks wanted to go

We have 2 days at Canyons/ Park City, 2 days at Deer Valley, 1 day at Sundance. I could have passed on Deer Valley, but I didn’t pick the resorts. Sundance sounds interesting.

I’m going beginning of February, and Seb is no longer there. I’m going with a ski club.

Need some advice/ opinions on Utah ski areas. We had a day off from skiing that week, but now they are offering a shuttle that day. Choices are Powder, Snowbasin, Brighton, Alta, Solitude, Snowbird. I’m thinking Powder, for some reason I’m very interested in skiing there. Any thoughts?
