What is the indoor water park lift?

Today was great until about noon, then the crowds arrived. I was hoping the cold would keep them away.. no such luck. After I saw someone going down laying on their stomach on their snowboard, I knew it was time to go. I got out on the snow around 915, so got plenty of runs in. I thought ROTD was Main Street.

I read about that. How terrifying to have to be evacuated from a gondola.

I laugh every time I see one

Have fun out there today, anyone who’s going. I’m avoiding Blue this weekend.

Last time I was at Camelback was when you got in free after your mountain closed for the season.

Another nice day today. Paradise a little bumpy and had some cookies this morning, but it did improve

I actually saw him today briefly, but didn’t talk to him.

I haven’t seen him at Blue this year.

I thought the conditions were excellent. I even went down Chute, which was ok.

Hero snow! That’s all I have to say.

They had the lift running a short time yesterday, I guess they were testing it.

Nice opening day at Roundtop. Got there at 740, big line at the lift already. Not much open- all the greens on skiers left, Upper and Lower Lafayette and Minuteman. They also had a small hike park. It’s a nice little mountain, seems to be well run. Looks like some good tailgating there, as well. I wouldn’t make a special trip out here just to ski, but I was out here visiting, and it was a fun day.

I heard it was broken.

I’m getting new tires Wednesday. I hate to spend the money.

I will probably make a few trips to Roundtop this season. Some family in Carlisle that has a season pass, so Oi thought it would be fun to check it out. Anyone know their tailgating policy? I’m not talking about grill and all, just sandwiches, snacks, couple of beers type of thing.

My husband did concrete work for years, I don’t know how he survived some winters.

I have a feeling we are going to have a real winter. 🤞🏼

Like the bar and lodge? I like it the way it is.

I chickened out of Chute. Only did Midway to Lower Main.

Got there at 10. Spur of the moment decision, was supposed to hike today, but hubby has a project going, and he wanted to work on that. What a fun day! Snow was perfect, not crowded. So glad I went, seeing how they’re gonna be closed next 3 days.
