  1. This is why quad stopped. They had to fix the ramp because people were eating it getting off the lift. We had a front row seat. Quite entertaining IMG_8784.mov
  2. Probably cookies, but we’re all used to those
  3. I’m really excited about tomorrow!
  4. Have fun!
  5. Ride Boulder from about 930-330 today. I was pleasantly surprised how much fun we had, I thought we would be bored and end up leaving after 2 hours. Snow was nice, easy to carve corduroy, good coverage, and they had 5 trails open on skiers right. Also some beginner stuff and park skiers left, which we didn’t check out. New lift is nice. Place was pretty much empty

  6. I hope they didn’t stockpile snow. They let Switch disappear, and it was only open for about 2 weeks. Should’ve used it there.
  7. A couple of us going there tomorrow. So rock skis not required? I haven’t been there in years, is the new lift any faster?
  8. So everyone is thinking only Vista next weekend?😞. If anyone is interested, I’ll be a Boulder tomorrow, they’re open from 9-4, tickets are reasonable. I haven’t been there in years, we’ll probably be bored to tears, but gonna make the best of it.
  9. Little Sip of Sunshine? If I knew that I would have helped you drink that keg! Nice pictures everyone, I’ve been slacking in that department. It’s just too depressing looking at the hill. It was nice meeting a few of you later in the day. I met about 25 people today, I need to start making name tags.
  10. I have been looking at different pass options. Indy looks great and the price is right, great option for a NE sklfari. I just don’t think I could convince anyone I know to travel around to all these different places, seeing how limited number of days are at each place.
  11. I’m also a slacker at trip reports sometimes. We skied Killington 3/4-3/7. Then skied Okemo 3/8. Conditions were ok, foggy, snow was soft, but not too bad. A lot of closed trails. Didn’t bother with Pico, as another of our friends were there and said it was terrible. I’d never skied Okemo. It was ok, at least the sun was out. It seemed Okemo has a lot of trails that cross each other. They need some tunnels!
  12. I noticed the bamboo gone later in the day, too. Maybe some smart ass took it out because they thought it would be funny? Anyway, they need to put a drainage pipe in there or something, that sink hole appears every year. And people were poaching that all day and no one seemed to care. It’s got to be so hard for a park rider to not hit that jump.
  13. Yes, I was there. Fun day.
  14. I’ve skied past 3 days. What fun! Folks were setting bumps all the way down Razors today. Lazy and bottom of Main not too bad. I saw the craziest thing, lots of folks poaching NM. I was on the lift and saw someone go head first into the big hole on NM, just below the jump. He was literally being held up by his snowboard. IDK what’s under there, but I was afraid he would drown The people in front of us called ski patrol, and we booked to the top of NM in case someone needed help getting him out. Turns out his friends got him out and they left. Then ski patrol came and were total Jack asses- threatening to pull everyone’s pass.
  15. You can take a gondola from Park City to the Canyons. The Canyons just had more interesting terrain. Just my opinion. There is a great trail on the PC side called Powder Monkey. I think Canyons is on Epic pass, too.
  16. Chute been great this week
  17. You’re going to Utah, there’s much better places to ski than Park City. I’d at least stick to the Canyons.
  18. Skied Okemo last week. They were hand scanning people. Apparently they have had a lot of people sharing their Epic passes.
  19. Great minds think alike
  20. The snow in the trees looks amazing.
  21. Beautiful picture!
  22. I was pleasantly surprised today after yesterday’s deluge. TCS, Lazy and Main were beautiful with the guns running all day. Raceway, Chute and Midway all very nice. Razors closed, but I wouldn’t have gone down it anyway, a total sheet. Didn’t bother with Challenge, either. Sidewinder has some pretty big skid marks, NMDW just ok. Switchback had lots of cookies, but I was ok with that because it’s my favorite trail. Nice tailgate, and made our mandatory check on the eagles. All in all Blue did a great job after yesterday.
