We have 2 days at Canyons/ Park City, 2 days at Deer Valley, 1 day at Sundance. I could have passed on Deer Valley, but I didn’t pick the resorts. Sundance sounds interesting.

I’m going beginning of February, and Seb is no longer there. I’m going with a ski club.

Need some advice/ opinions on Utah ski areas. We had a day off from skiing that week, but now they are offering a shuttle that day. Choices are Powder, Snowbasin, Brighton, Alta, Solitude, Snowbird. I’m thinking Powder, for some reason I’m very interested in skiing there. Any thoughts?

So you’re saying there is no decent skiing in Pa?

I’m old, and I avoid that chair as much as possible. Only ride it to drink a beer on the way up.

I had studded snow tires on a front wheel drive Chevy Corsica. That thing was like a tank!

I’m not sure psychiatrists are just handing out Xanax anymore.

I really hope you’re not serious. Just get on the plane and fly out west, if that’s what you really want to do. Think about it next time you drive the turnpike, I-78 or 80. Now THAT is scary.

Flat light all day did suck, but still had a good time. Challenge was better than Razors IMO. Main Street and Paradise good. A little disappointed Dreamweaver was closed. A great way to spend NYD. Felt like I was catching a cold last night, fresh air and a little parking lot wine must have killed all my cold germs 🙂

Yeah, saw that during the fall hiking at Blue. Long winding road headed up to tower, as well. Bet that wasn’t cheap.

Didn’t do Razors. Race team was on it, and I won’t go down once they are done. Challenge wasn’t bad. Main Street and Dreamweaver were pretty good. I think they’re doing good considering the warm weather.

Challenge it self wasn’t bad. The Falls was wretched. Dreamweaver definitely ROTD.

Saturday is out, family is gathering for Christmas. I hoping Sunday morning is dry and bad weather forecast keeps crowds to minimum.

Nice Razors and Challenge open! Neither were when I was there Friday. I’m a little out of sorts, got the short end of the stick at work. So worked A LOT the past week. Including weekend, Christmas Eve and Christmas. Hubby said I need to go skiing tomorrow. Think he may be trying to get rid of me. 😂.

Buy your own. Rental skis are pretty crappy. As far as what kind, I’ll leave it to the gearheads on the forum. There’s tons of great skis on the market.

A beautiful day! Warmed up fast. Skied from 9-12. Main Street snow was beautiful. Nice to have some new trails open.

I think they’ll seed bumps after they get more trails open.

Barney’s bumps don’t take up the whole trail. They are easily avoided. I’m far from a bump skier, but I say share the trail.

Yeah, don’t they have a bump clinic every year?

Have fun dodging the race team! Seriously would love to be there. Maybe Monday morning.
