I was at Blue yesterday from skied from about 10-3. Conditions were really nice, but did start to soften up a bit when I left, so I guess it must have gotten colder pretty quick. I need new boots, as well. Buckmans in Whitehall only had 1 pair in my size. Unfortunately, I have the most common woman's size foot.

Tell us your kidding. You actually made each kid give you 10 bucks, but you didn't have to pay for their tickets?!

Bumps on Razors still closed. Snow is awesome, nice temps. I have to be somewhere this afternoon, so gotta leave. No skiing for me til Monday 😫

Sounds like you're having a great time. I could sooo live in Vermont. Hubby, not so much. I was so excited about cold weather returning here, and all he talks about is getting the garden started.

I just use it to put on my boots and occasionally have a snack in there and use the bathroom. I like that you can take your skis in. The layout is just so convenient to get on the lift. And if they make it too nice, they may ban tailgating.

Yeah. I kinda like the bottom lodge, too. Didn't they have a bike shop there couple years ago?

Yes Lehigh is a fun trail. Like a hike in the woods. When we were there last week it was closed. I don't think Elk is considered in the Poconos, it's the Endless Mountains.

Conditions were great today. Might think it was mid winter.

Just saw the survey and took it. I also saw on their website family camping in the summer. Is that new? And yeah, hiking trails would be great, connect to AT. And as far as putting in condos and housing like Camelback did, probably not a great idea. Aren't most of those empty most of the year?

Most of the kids I knew skied the park.

Check at the township/ municipal building where you live. They often have discount tickets to ski areas, amusement parks and that sort of thing.

You can do whatever you want. Just thought 3 separate reports would be redundant.

Snow was great today. Ladies were two chairs deep most runs. Razors was closed until about 1 pm, then opened until just above the bumps. Then you had to cut across to Challenge. Fresh cord at 1 pm!! Did everything at least once. Everything in great shape. Back for more tomorrow.

10 or 12 years ago the kids that rode park, just got together, tried things, critiqued each other. I was a parent of one of those kids, and it was fun watching them. Their enthusiasm was infectious, and it was a great time. My kids always played outside, had a pretty good amount of freedom. I don't feel kids have that anymore, their whole lives are so completely scheduled, I'm not sure why. I also feel people who ski or ride routinely genuinely love it, they are not picky about the weather or conditions.

That's not too bad a drive. Have to make certain things, like skiing or riding a priority.

Salty, try Elk's restaurant. It's pretty good. Prices reasonable last time I ate there.
