Actually when we were there couple weeks ago, we were a little disappointed in Killington Mart. But you're right about the bakery. It's fabulous. Also Ipie pizza place is good. Pizza is delicious and they have great salads. Pretty budget friendly.

Isn't it super heavy and hard to get off the car? Not to mention carrying a wet tarp around in your car.

I left when the rain started and my goggles kept icing over. Going back tomorrow, have to go early and leave early. Stupid dentist appointment. I kinda wanted to go a little later. Might be icey death early.

I actually prefer smaller, family owned places to chain motels when I'm skiing. I don't know what it is about the area around Belleayre. Creeps me out. It's like a Steven King book.

Took me full hour and 45 minutes to get there this am. During the week usually 1 hour. Wasn't snowing much at my house when I left, however by the time I got to Center Valley roads were covered and terrible. Snow was beautiful til about 1130. Lots of untracked. Looking down at completely untracked Dreamweaver was making me crazy. Soooooo wanted to poach it. Not worth losing my pass. Lazy was great. Even noodled around in the trees there a bit.

That's the only place I bring my skis in. Don't even do it early season in top lodge.

I want to get up to Belleayre this year. Really pushing it for a day trip for me. Not sure if I'd want to stay up there alone overnight. Locals seemed a little creepy to me last time I was there. That was awhile ago, so maybe things changed.

I take my skis in the lower lodge at Blue all the time. So do all the other mid week people who boot up in the back.

Just got here. Took me hour and 45 minutes. Roads are abysmal. Hardly any snow in Qtown. By the time I got on 78 roads were covered and snow coming down like crazy. -
Salty, why don't you just stay at Stowe and save your free Killington tickets for later in the season?

There is a tunnel you ski thru at Wildcat in New Hampshire 😝 Anyway great pictures.

It would be a much easier drive for me to go to Camelback. I don't like the long run outs there. Like the vibe at Blue better, lower lodge is so great and laid back.

Just leaving now. Place emptied out. I thought more people would be here. 17 bucks to ski 4 hours is a really good deal.

I grew up in the 70's. Better music, clothes, hair, and......other things. I'll leave it at that.

At least at least a lot of guys like to ski. Try being a woman on the down side of 50, and see how many people you have to ski with! I am actually starting to meet some women my age that ski Blue routinely during the week.

Is the 80's party all day, or just evening? I feel like the 80's were pretty much horrible in every way- music, clothes, and those awful perms. What the hell was everyone thinking 😱
