Does anyone remember Camelback offered free admission after the mountain you had a pass to closed? About 8 years ago? Took full advantage.

Maybe I'll wait til around 20 to get there. Let the sun work a bit.

Hemlocks are one of my favorite trees. I love hiking through a grove of them.

I'm surprised only 1 person was severely injured.

Yeah, that sucks. Someone ran over the back of my ski getting off a chairlift, tore my ACL about 6 years ago. Chair wasn't even full! I do everything possible to avoid getting on the lift with a bunch of people with rental skis now.

That old Alpine Slide was a blast even if it was a bit sketchy.

I really hope they never change the lower lodge. I love it. I don't even mind the muddy parking lot. All part of the ambiance.

I was there Thursday. My face got a little cold, but my feet were ok.

I miss Nestor's. Got my last pair of boots there the year they closed. I love them, they fit perfectly.

I always bring my own snacks to lower lodge. No one says anything to me. Of course, I'm usually there during the week. I was there last Sunday, however, and they didn't seem to care.

I got off at 22 and went up 145. Not sure of the way from Mahoning Valley, and wasn't sure how back roads would be. Where 309 and 78 merge together right above Center Valley is a total mess with the slightest bit of snow.

Wow. I took Turnpike up yesterday morning because 309/ 78 was already backed up. Turnpike is definitely longer for me. Took 78/309 home. Glad I did.

Conditions were pretty good today, except for the wind. I think it got worse as the day went on. Left around 1. You couldn't see where you were going a couple times due to wind and blowing snow.

That sucks they can't make snow. Only temporary, I hope.

I'm willing to bet I'm the slowest skier on here.

Well, I thought conditions were great today. Along with the sun and some moderate temps. Made for a great morning. Razors did suck, but Challenge was really nice. Challenge just seems so sketchy a lot of times, but was great today. Anyway does anyone here go north on the turnpike to get to Blue? Trying to avoid the clusterf@ck 78 becomes with a little snow.

I'll be here tomorrow am. I have to leave now. Got something I have to do this afternoon. I hear the snow will mostly be south and east.

I actually like the video. I just think people who mainly ski the east coast have a whole different attitude. You have to work with what you have. Make whatever you have fun and challenging.
