We bring pocket sandwiches. Most places have an area you can have a bag lunch. I just can’t justify buying a huge lunch that you can’t finish. I like to stop and have a drink and appetizer mid day sometimes.

Bring our own food. Pre prepare stuff, everyone brings a meal. Works out great, get back from skiing, make a drink, throw food in the microwave. It works out great

I hardly ever go out to eat on ski trips.

Hello trip report slacker here. Drove up to The Loaf Sunday, made it here in 10 hours- not bad. Spent Monday am lapping the new expansion - West Mountain. Sweet wide Blue Groomers with some woop-de-doos. Made me think of J law, you could get some nice air. Back over lapped the Superquad a bit and Timberline lift a bit. Then over to Kingpine. Today pretty much the same, just skipped West Mountain. Probably craziest trail we did was Ripsaw. Rocks, grass, frozen bumps. I’ll post the video- doesn’t do it justice. I’ve had an Ikon pass for past 3 years, love it. Was considering not getting another for next year- had a pretty good discount working in healthcare, but now I’m retired. But IDK, think I’ll regret it if I don’t.

Lots of activity on the jumps past 2 weekends, so IDK if that will happen.

I’m not sure I like this. We will see what happens.

Home for 4 days, then off to Atlanta for 10 days to watch my 11 month old granddaughter while my son and his wife go to Italy.

I think I’ll pass on Friday at Blue. Going to be out of town pretty much 4/1- 4/21.

How horrific is this bridge collapse. Can’t even imagine dying like that. Have they gotten anyone out alive?

Thanks for the heads up about D&L closure. Starting soon? I wonder if D&L open yet near Seven Tubs. And that I80 bridge definitely needs to be redone. We had to seek refuge from torrential rain under there a couple years ago, sketchy as hell, concrete falling apart and exposed rebar everywhere.

Looks like great conditions overall this year.
