Think I saw SallyCat couple of times. She was going down the hill, and I was on the lift. Left around 1230. Also left my skis there to get sharpened. I guess lots of others wanted their stuff sharpened. Hour wait! I'll be back tomorrow am. Have to leave by 1230. Getting some work done on my car.

Rode up with ski patrol. Said they will prolly make snow tonight. Should improve things a bit. Stopped in the tune shop. Hour wait to get skis sharpened. It is softening up a little. At least there are some piles to turn in now.

Got out on the snow at 9. Was hoping the sun would come out and soften things up. No such luck. It's an icey sheet of death with scattered ice chunks. 😡

I'll be there today, as well. Black jacket, blue pants. Moderate skills.

I'm thinking of heading to Killington late January or February. Took a few days off. Will depend on the weather. I didn't think they cared about people sleeping in their cars there.

Had to do a recert class at LVH this morning. Headed to Blue afterwards for a couple hours. I figured I was already halfway there. Only did Challenge once. Was getting scraped off with scattered piles of soft snow. Main Street, Lazy, Paradise all nice. Looks like rain Saturday and Sunday 😡😡😠😠. Hope not. Want to see these ski areas around here making some money over the Christmas break.

Looks nice. How were the crowds? I didn't go to Bear at all last year. Maybe a night session this year.

Agreed. When you turn something you love into a job, it's not much fun.

I would have to agree with you on this. Some of my best days this summer were hiking the the Loyalsock State Forest, where we would have the place to ourselves.

Just coming in for a break, conditions are really nice. Sun was even out for awhile. And eaf, you should be fine with those skis.

Seven Springs is a fun mountain. Not very steep, but pretty big acreage wise. I think only about half is lit for night skiing.

Unfortunately, working tomorrow. Off Wednesday. 930 appointment, may head up after that or just wait til Thursday.

I got out on the snow about 815, went in around 1030 when the lines got too long. Good first day on the snow. I thought Upper Main Street was a bit sketchy, so I only did that once. Lapped Lazy mostly. I think Some of you may have been parked next to me when I was leaving.
