Because I live right below Coopersburg. It's the easiest way to go. Get off Cedar Crest to 22 to 145 or go all the way up where 309 meets 22. Sounds like a long ride, but you can drive pretty fast. Tried going through Bethlehem last week and took back roads, didn't think they'd be clear. if you know of a better way let me know
-
Roads were not too bad. It did take me a solid 2 hours to get here. Usually 1 hour. There was a problem 309N onto 78 right above Center Valley. People always get stuck there. Made a quick detour around it. Saw a truck towing a Smart Car out of a ditch. Who the hell tries to drive a Smart Car in the snow?
-
Yeah I think I should probably leave my house by 6. Hope they have that giant hill from 309 onto 78 well salted and plowed.

Lots of skiers like to hit the park. It's not just boarders. And anyone can ski or ride through the park. Just stay out of the landings and off the lips.
-
Looks nice. Telephone booths. Don't see that very often.
-
I know where the AT is there. Have hiked either side of Blue Mountain drive a couple times.
-
Nice. Thursday?
-
is any of it the original AT cabin? I really like the bottom lodge. Rustic, yet comfortable with the heated floors in front. Although I did get a splinter in my foot putting my boots on couple weeks ago. Luckily, I was able to pull it out.
-
the bottom lodge wasn't there in the 90's?
-
Long walk from lot or lodge to the bottom of the lift.
-
So I'm looking at the radar. Where's all this rain we're supposed to get? I may have to ski tomorrow, despite promises I made today.
-
Yeah, I noticed the line thing, too. It was either nobody or everybody. I never count my runs. Started to today, but quickly forgot about it. I figure I ski about 3-4 hours, no breaks. Almost always ride the 6 pack. That's a lot of runs😎
-
Leaving here the 7th return the 14th. May take a couple days to hike.
-
Great pictures.

Ooooooo. Wishing I was there now. Hopefully beginning of March will be just as good. I'm really excited. Never skied out west.

I'm always amazed at what we thought was good beer. I guess any beer was good

Buy it at the end of the season. I think mid to late February. You can use it the rest of this season and next season. My season pass quickly paid for itself. Used to get the 6 ticket deal for $100. Burned them up by mid January usually. You'll go a lot more with a pass.

Did anyone ever buy a Matt's Beer ball? Disgusting. We also used to drink Old Milwaukee. 25 cents a glass.
-
I think the little park was started year before last. I remember being surprised it was there.
-
Got here around 1115. Just came in. Spur of the moment trip, since it's gonna rain all day tomorrow. More crowded than normal. Razors closed for racing.Sidewinder closed, looks like they're building. Did everything except Burma. Everything really nice except Challenge. Yuck, full of ice marbles again. Nice to have sun all day.

Working out, hiking, biking off season helps too.
-
Sounds like you're going to have a great trip. Post plenty of pics!

I'm going March 7-14. Really excited. Canyons and Park City. Gonna try and do a little hiking too.

I would definitely live somewhere out west year round. To me it's amazing to drive a couple hours and be in another world. Really like doing just about anything outside. Jobs are here, though. Maybe when we retire. I would like to just travel around the country and camp for about a year. -
. That's a good way to look at it!
