I started skiing 20 years ago, and believe me, it was a lot more affordable then. You could always find a deal- Men’s day, woman’s day, buy one, get one, college discounts. It sure wasn’t anywhere near the price it is now.

It used to fun watching all the kids do tricks, critique each other, and try new things. Unfortunately, it’s become a sport of the rich. Mommy and Daddy can afford to send you to Windells for the summer, get you private coaches, and buy you new skis/ snowboard every season because the rails tear them up.

Maybe Sunday. Or just hold out until Monday when everyone goes back to school and work

Just read tickets sold out today until 4 pm. It’s gonna be brutally cold, I’ll bet half the ticket buyers will be in the lodge most of the day.

Thanks. I’m not too confident in that sort of thing. Maybe Blue should fix them since they mounted them. There was a guy in the tune shop at Bear who was real good with them. Not sure if he’s there anymore. I also wear boot gloves when it’s cold wonder if that effects them.

I may venture up this weekend.

Great video. Only place I ever skied deep powder, it snowed all day. What a challenge! Luckily I had people with me that knew what they were doing.

I noticed they didn’t even clear the snow from the lower paid lot yet. I guess they’re waiting until the next snowstorm.

Lately I’ve had a hankering for a visit there. I think last time I was there was 2 seasons ago.

Nice! Did you get bindings? And I have a question about the Look Pivots if anyone has an answer. Bought them last year at Blue and had them mounted there early this season. Unfortunately, the people I trusted there to work on my stuff are gone. Anyhow, the one is really hard to get my boot in. All the DIN settings are the same. I don’t think it’s the boot, because it does it on either foot.

I like calling it Raisins. And calling Free Fall TCS

Oh, and enjoyed watching the progress pushing out the huge piles of snow on Raisins.

Had another great day today. Snow was a tad crunchier and cookies in spots, but completely edge able. I believe JL buzzed by us top of TCS. I’m actually taking the day off tomorrow, helping with the snow removal around here. And gotta clean up the house sometimes, spend time with the pets. That sort of thing. I’m thinking maybe Sunday. It’s gonna be super cold, maybe keep some people away.

Another nice day at Blue, but wow it was cold this morning! The heated floor is wonderful on days like this.

I didn’t think the mountain road was that bad today. I got up and down to lower lot easily. I’ve seen it way worse.

Yeah, and it was actually nice. They had the guns blasting all day. Mostly on Razors. Gotta keep the race team happy. It was nice to see snow on Sidewinder, but no guns going on that trail☹️

Today was amazing. That’s all I’m saying.
