The Ranger standing next to the jump staring at the boarder is just too funny!! Looks like they did a better job of the approach to the wall than last year. I remember that was a learning experience. Hey TP4 ya got any Fruit of Islam hats?

Where are you? Central NJ got mostly sleet. I was hoping that CB was getting all snow. Oh well!

Don't need a stalker to find you. You are everywhere like a bad rash. Change your name to PapaShanker or PapaHerpes. This is too fun. Glad to see they have Rocket marked down as having bumps!!!! It would be nice if they left a couple runs ungroomed but that would be too much for all the noobs to handle.

Wait til next year. Blah blah blah, whine whine whine.

Oh yeah I have lots of memories of driving up to Mountain Creek through nasty weather. If you take the back way in it's really fun. The bus road is sick when it's full of snow. You can get some fun slides going.

POWDER DAYS!!!!!!!

He brought a house at CB and is too lazy to get up early to go to another mountain. No we have to hear him cry about everything that isn't 100% perfect at CB.

Ouch!! That's funny though.

Just tried the Dr. D Universal Hydrocarbon and it is some good stuff.

Got my wax Friday. I took a break Sat around lunchtime and put on some cheap warm wax and did the scrape and polish thing and then put on the Dr. D sample. Had to warm it with the iron a little to get it to spread. I didn't put too much down as I usually just drip wax on so I really didn't put too much on. (I barely used an 1/8th of the bar.) I ironed it in with a bare iron moving fast, since I don't have any fiberlene stuff, and then let my sticks sit for a while. Scraped and polished and then took the sticks out for a few runs. The stuff was FAST!! At least as fast as the swix CH 10 stuff with some F4 polished in. I bet if I topped it with some F4, or some other glide wax this stuff would be phenomenal. The only thing was that after a few runs I could tell it was wearing off. Still for as thin a layer I put on it held up pretty well. I should have put more on but it was my first time using the crayon method. Next time I'm going to really paste the stuff on instead of taking it easy. Next weekend I'm going to do up the sticks right and really test it out. So far I'm pretty impressed. Props to the Doc!!!!!!

I know this is the Sun thread but here's my take on Sat too. (Where IS the Sat thread?) I was there Sat from 9 AM til close and it was pretty nice in the AM and as stated it got a little scraped off in the middle of some trails but the sides were very nice. They were doing race training on Asp and it was groomed very hard and pebbly. If you stuck to your edges it was ok, otherwise yowieee! Cliff was looking pretty good and Big Pokeahoe was looking decent but was most noobful. Nile was really nice. Pharoh and Bactrian were pretty good too. Margie's and Rocket were good to the sides. Hardpack in the middle but you could edge through it. Cleo was still in good shape as was Lower Cleo. Still no bump runs set up on more difficult terrain. Gotta take what comes up naturally. I was planning on going Sunday since Sat day and night were so nice but had a change of plans. Sounds like Sunday was decent but not as good as Sat. Looking forward to some freshness comming our way on Tues!!! Next weekend is gonna be sweet!!

How is Margie's now?? Or how was it later on? It would be sick if those lanes were so they could groom a nice mogul run. Maybe groom some moguls on half. That would be too nice. The did such a nice job on lower cleo that they just HAVE to do something on some black diamond terrain.
-
Yeah they are open. Like you said they are there to stop accidental entry from honeymoon lane. Notice how the fence only went accross as far as the mogul run. As long as the fence is not all the way accross and there aren't any closed signs then it's open.
-
Hope they keep blowing snow on Margies and Rocket and let one of them get some major bumps at least. Now we have a 'learning' bump run now we need one for those that already know how to ski them.
-
I only got to hit the bumps on Lower Cleo at CB once at night. They were pretty good. I heard a rumor that they were going to dump a lot of snow on Rocket or Margies there and let part of it get bumped up. Guess it was just a rumor. I know everyone is hating on how lower cleo is an easier trail but the lack of incline takes some of the hesitation away for people who really want to learn how to control themselves in the bumps. So if you take it from a learning perspective it's not so bad. It really forces you to work on your technique. The bumps on Main Street were phenomenal!!! I haven't seen a mogul run in PA that nice ever. It was too good to last.

Yeah I'm praying for a blizzard. Only the hardcore will be out then.
-
That is some funny sh*t That's what the fence on the side of Pharo is for.
-
Yeah that's what happend to Shadows.
-
That's beat. They were nice too.

I guess technically it's probably an animated gif or something similar. It used to be some guy doing some goofy karate kid stuff and then gets chased by a rooster. Now you have some trippy orange burst thing.

Dude you forgot you are on the PABitchAndMoanAboutCamelback web site. It exists so MommaDouchenozzle, AtomicDouchenozzle and GrilledDouchenozzleSandwich can just bitch and moan about CB and it's staff. It's so lame and old. I actually thought this would be a decent sited to find out about local mountain conditions and to talk to others about skiing and riding in PA.

What a pisser!!! I can't wait for some of you peeps to come to CB. Too funny!!
