haha yeah it was cool that you got to ride with me and k2rider. thanks for the compliments, nothing special though.
it was a fun night, we rode with mike and his friend for about an hour. we were there from about 3:15 to 8:45. the conditions were really slow in the beginning until the fog set in and it sped up a lot. it turned out to be an awesome night and liftlines cleared out by about 7:30. Snow coverage was decent with some brown spots. its gonna be tough for them to make it through this upcoming stretch with no snowmaking.
whoever those kids boulder called as park crew tonight were awful. they were out a lot but did absolutely nothing to improve things. had to be a training night for them or something. anyway a fun night overall with a shit ton of runs.
i should have a few pics up in a bit.
back to the stats issues, why is it showing mine from last year with each post? anyone?
doug i bet if you tell me how to fix that you will improve your chances for being on staff
Does anyone know anything about the railjam after the movie premier on sunday, dec. 2? Is it a competion? It would be awesome if it wasn't, and was like the meltdown jibfest they had last year. Anyway I think i will be there, should be fun.
according to accuweather they got 4.4 inches. the webcam looks like it could be more. definetly an awesome sight to see. I only have 2 to 2.5 inches at my house
i had a baby blue jacket on, tan pants, white crowbars. i cant remember if i was wearing a helmet last night, i think i was. i definetly saw you but never got close enough that i remember
I use Dakine Bronco GT's for the cold days and they are very nice. Quality gloves and really warm and waterproof (goretex)
I also use some Grenade pipe gloves but wouldnt reccomend any grenade products for trying to stay warm.
k2rider and I plan on heading up tomorrow after school. Anyone else going?
Anyone go tonight, how was it looking?
Has the BB area gotten a lot of rain?
Will they even be open?
I hope with a low of 33 tonight for lake harmony that big boulder will be able to blow, i figure its a couple degrees cooler on mountain.
