  1. Great day today. Once the snow finally stopped and you were able to get speed the jumps were awesome. The first one in cascade is perfect and the bigger hit in tubing is great as well. Props on a good job building those two. The first in tubing felt somewhat strange, the lip seemed huge compared to the rest of it, but whatever it served its purpose well to guage your speed for the second. Overall, a job well done to the park crew and the only way i could see the need for spray paint is for times like this morning when the light is flat. Its hard to spot your landing sometimes when the sky and the snow blurr together, but i really dont think its a neccessity most of the time.
  2. i was at both frost and boulder today and i must say i had an excellent time. I always do at jfbb. Trees and east mountain were nice at frost and One park actually has great flow. Boulder was fun as always and everything was set up well. Cant beat $25 college wednesdays

    old lady armor

holy shit haha you bought the top of the line pants. shoulda saved some money and went for one75's or less, basically the same protection for half the price.
  4. how is powder mountain? heading out to utah in march and will be spending a few days there i think..
  5. i have to say park crew was much better today. first time all year i have seen them out really doing a good job keeping the lips in good shape. I understand crowds on the weekends make it tougher than days like today but there seemed to be some motivation today, so props to them. The candycane is set up really well down, the palmer is good as always, and the blackbear jumpline is pretty fun.

i liked it bro, good work
  7. Stop being a tool and keep your post whoring in the blue forums. I think i speak for most when i say we dont want you here.
  8. he's actually right, theres a bunch around the pottstown area.
  9. quit bitching bring your own damn food if it bothers you that much, look at the swarms of people in the lodge, obviously it isnt that expensive nor do people have a problem paying it. And what the hell is with park crew this year. Its by far the most pathetic showing i've seen in the last 5 seasons. Half of them seem incapable to use the rake. I'm sick of seeing the rails get horribly rutted out to the point they cant be fixed, how about jumping on them 2 hours earlier while its an easy fix up. I didnt realize park crew was getting paid to build fucking igloos while rails 50 feet from them are getting destroyed. What a joke.
  10. agreed on the lips being strange. they could definetly use some work. If your going to make them urban then do it right, not a 3 inch ollie up onto a rail which is just awkward. And why would there be two rails that are practically identical and set up the same right next to eachother at the bottom. I'm talking the palmer and the doublewide or whatever you want to call them. Dig out the palmer and give it a legit ollie on. Overall though the parks have been fun, jumps are built pretty nice, blackbear is pretty good. Some of the kids on park crew are useless, and cascade needs more features.
  11. kills me to see the palmer rail sitting alongside the trail
  12. cant help too much other than park but i can say that they managed to salvage pretty decent coverage after all the rain. Snow got pretty slushy today but held up alright. I dont think they can blow tonight but if the rain holds off and grooming is good tomorrow shouldnt be bad.
  13. just got home, parks arent packed with features but they are pretty good for being open for less than a week. Cascade starts with a down rail, then the step down box, the small staircase, and a small jump. Then into tubing are two bigger jumps, about 20' and 25', both pretty mellow and alot of fun. Blackbear has the picnic table, a down rail, barrel bonk, and the candycane rail. Then into lower blackbear there are basically two rail lines. The big staircase opened today, then an up box, and a down bar. Next to that is a dfd, down handrail, wide box or another down rail to end. Overall the park has been holding up good, lips and landings are pretty good into the afternoon. A few things could use fine tuning but its alot of fun. def worth 10 buck tomorrow
  14. I've been there on powder days and its too flat. The parks are decent but they are all too short. The pipes are amazing i'll give them that. TW's top 5s are horseshit by the way. It's only ranked so high because its the best central/western pa has to offer resort/hotel wise, definetly not if your comparing terrain.
  15. great news! my last final is thursday maybe i can make it back in time for some late runs thursday night. if not, see everyone friday!
  16. for a budget around $400 I've never ridden anything better than the k2 darkstar. Handles pretty much anything. I'm on the Parkstar this year which is just the rockered version and its all good so far too. I know it wasnt one of your choices but maybe you can consider it.
  17. Rails 2 Riches got pushed back to next weekend so hopefully that will ease some crowds. anyway who's going up this weekend? i think i'll be at killington saturday and hopefully mount snow sunday if they can open up with a park.
  18. hahahahaha good luck
  19. i'll start out by saying i like blue and enjoy the park, but it is annoying to have to ride your edge the entire time on that jump line. Even though the pictures dont show it, the jump line isnt really straight and the trail is not level. And when they had their biggest jump around the corner that was just asking for disaster. sure i'd like for the park to be on a straighter run but in reality it isnt going to happen. if it bothers you that much ride boulder and the almighty camelback
  20. give me the blue for cheap
  21. the site is so awful sno may get better business if they leave it down
  22. for christ's sake let the man ask the kid a question, its an internet message board if he doesnt want to answer it he wont. its not the cool thing to do to jump on the damn bandwagon and bring the hate all the time. grow the hell up and instead of flaming TTC6 all the damn time and shitting up the board do the mature thing and ignore his post if it bothers you. its already september, only a few more months now, go rub one off to the new transworld or freeskier instead of being tools.
  23. i have a blast at boulder everytime i go, and jack frost one park can actually be a lot of fun. as for bear its 15 minutes from my house so i too could never give up a pass there, and the park is good. anyway i would say dont get the pass, just do some day trips, you can get atleast 8 to 10 trips for 300 bucks, and if you dont make it up as much as you had hoped you wont feel like your losing money. plus gas/tolls/etc arent cheap if your going up by yourself besides it doesnt sound like you have ever ridden boulder from the wording of your post, i wouldnt drop that kind of money for things i have heard over the internet.
  24. im not much of a burton fan, but for what its worth i've never heard positive about the Se7en, but i've heard a lot of good things about the custom. and just to follow the thread im 170 and ride a 155
  25. wow thats awesome. the pictures are amazing as well. jealous for sure
