just got back...tubing was closed due to the slopestyle...everything else was nice. They put a barrel on top of the "nipple", however it kept getting knocked over and Park Crew had to close it. fun night though. black bear jumps were a lot of fun
BC has plenty of new jibs. Plus whats the sense of taking the time to build quality jibs if you're only gonna use them for one season. BC has the highest quality rails/boxes that i've ridden, year after year.
yeah i was going to mention that earlier. I followed the paramedics in. I give him props for trying a double backflip. I heard it was pretty bad, supposedley he was really twitching and stuff.
just got back, everything was pretty nice. I still love the tubing setup. the blackbear jumps got pretty rutted. The park was really hard, not icy, but just a few falls and you have a sore tailbone.
with an attitude like that it won't^^, im sure there will be skiers that have fun on it. I think it looks pretty fun to ollie from one part to the other.
it should be good because it never had time to melt and then refreeze which usually = ice. Should be some nice hardpack with maybe a layer of powder on it
i was up there from 8:30- 2:30. probably the best conditions all year. Not too crowded.
What I liked: tubing jumpline. picnic table. setup of the first flat box. the nipple. the inverse rainbow. both staircases.
What I didnt like: some of the rails/boxes were sticky.
i was there from 9 till 2:30 ish....get there early(8:30 to 9:00) and you should be fine till about 12:30. I went over to the other side around 1:30, and it was a f*cking zoo. I've never seen a line that long at BC. 20 minute wait, 10000 people i was seriously about to walk up the trail and head back over to the park quad or double.
umn...i only took one run today outside the park. we headed over to timberline, very nice, smooth, not icy. then up the quad and down sasquatch, same there.
