there seemed to be a really good turnout tonight. some nice stuff being thrown, i gotta say, i was really impressed with some of skiers. i saw a bunch of nice 9's and 10's from them
i dont see what the big deal is nick, as long as he isnt cutting people off or risking injuries to others, who cares if hes not clearing the landings? I guess not everyone can be as good as you, but lighten up.
just got home, they were giving out a lot of free stuff tonight in the lodge. Anyway the step up is really fun. Tubing jump line was closed due to the comp... The black bear park jumps are pretty nice but in desperate need of some rails/boxes + a hip on cascade.
just got back tonight...not a whole lot of ice, very good conditions. Black bear is no longer boardercross, but now it has small-medium table tops. Hopefully we will see some rails/boxes on there too.
went tonight...shoulda taken my ice skates. It was icy when i got there at 3:30 and got icier as it went on. Everything was set up well though. Features were the same as before.

here's some pics on BC's website. Who won anyway?
went up this morning. got about 4th chair. park was great. perfectly groomed in most spots. The lips onto the rails were nice. The flat down and the new wall ride are so nice. Jump Line was in good shape, and the stairset was nice. The two small jumps in cascade and the one into the pipe are still there. I can't wait to see them make black bear into a park again... I really wanna see another hip on the right side as you come down cascade like last year, their spines are fun too.
