  1. the candy cane rail is great, it needs to be out more and set up small to medium urban. missdemenor the big jumps need more pop, the last one in tubing was dead most of the time.
  2. i was gonna say the same thing..loon
  3. get rid of the a frame. build more flat stock rails instead of more boxes. maybe another handrail since the shorter one is pretty beat. a double barrel would be nice as well. and a really mellow battleship.
  4. Out here in Western Pa not much is open, 7 springs has a pretty good hike park i hear, but Holiday Valley (45 milies SE of Buffalo) is still spinning the lifts and has a pretty legit park. Tickets were $12 for a 4-7 pm session so we took the 2.5 hour drive.. Conditions were really soft but the biggest jump, about 35 feet had a pretty legit lip even late in the day. park consisted of 3 jumps and about 10 rails.. Only a few other trails were open, and alot of the golf course underneath the snow was drying out nicely. Just a few shots of the mountain from the parking lot..pics start from peaks far right.. anyway. now onto the good part, holiday valley is 45 minutes form buffalo and the canadian-american border, so why not.. luckily passports arent required until after june 1, and we didnt have birth certificates with us either. luckily the dude was chill and let us pass on our PA drivers lisences and college ID's. we got across the border around 8:30 pm Buffalo from out the car window A little Canadian heritage Niagara Falls, All lit up Skyline overlooking the falls Downtown Niagara was hoppin as well Snagged some food at a local restaurant, 19 year old drinking age FTW! Paid in American, the bitch gave me my change in Canadian, what good does that do me when it was impossible to find a currency exchange at midnight.. Got to hear a few canadians say 'Eh' , chill in Niagara, check out the falls, and get our car searched for pot by those damn border police... Left around midnight and drove the 3 hours back to school, exhausted but a totally random and fun night. peace.
  5. he sold it the other day.
  6. last saturday, i take back the suck part. the first infact did suck, the 2nd was mediocre. 1. narrow landings 2. they are mellow until the last 2 feet which quickly change angles and kick you back 3. every kid at camelback feels the need to roll up to them like they are going to hit them and stop right at the top of them and scrape them off. its a 35 foot jump, your not travis rice, you dont need to do it.
  7. they suck. especially the first one. and the big one might be 50, but no bigger
  8. saw that on the site yesterday. really sick
  9. another good one in the books. thanks for all the hard work.
  10. medium jumps in turkey trot? bro the first one is 8 feet and the second is 4 feet hahaha
  11. cool, im looking forward to seeing the finished one
  12. i wasnt impressed with it this morning, the lips to the big jumps blew.
  13. epoxy and clamps edit: sorry i didnt read. i just use the 5 min epoxy from wal mart it usually holds ok, sometimes it re cracks though. just make sure its dry when you do it
  14. camelwack..living up to the name once again. i enjoyed the parks earlier in the year but not today. who built the lips on the jumps and the skinny landings? ew. and you cant put a box out with a chip in the topsheet, it catches pretty badly. even the little park failed to provide any fun. left the free tickets after 2 or so hours and gladly paid $36 to ride boulder
  15. well he definetly has the left side dialed, and it looks real clean. the edit was good but yeah i think a few right side spins, maybe even one or two would help break it up and make it harder for people to pick up on his dominant side. it doesnt have to be anything great, haha even if it takes all day to nail a clean 3 and 5 that way it would be worth it to throw it in. hope you just take this as positive criticism, the kid has a lot of potential and im not trying to be a dick.
  16. hmn...boulder or camelback this weekend? more details will...
  17. can he spin the other direction? left, left, left. other than that it was real sick
  18. no. blue's park is lame.
  19. Alright dude, its not funny. Why don't you contribute something useful to the board?
  20. anyone know if tickets will still be full price this coming weekend?
  21. damn no lifts in the spot, thats dissapointing. thats the only place with good snow. i agree with you the jump line is sick, especially 2 and 3. and the down handrail was set up real nice on sunday.
  22. conditions were pretty rough this weekend. jer, did you guys close yesterday or are you sticking it out still? and all the big womens events this weekend were pretty cool. the spot is still in excellent shape and it was really cool with the pro womens riders there. they were killing it in the pipe. i even got the chance to hit the jumps a couple times with Rome pro silvia mittermuller which was a really cool experience.
  23. not that sweet..sorry
  24. yes, i could agree with that.
  25. i ride the same board, and like it alot. pretty good price. someone hop on it
