Bear creek reps: could u please get back to us on playing music in the park so we can know if its possible, being thought about, never going to happen, or in our future? Thanks
-
i'll be there all i can til the closing day
-
yeah i have an offpeak too and im wondering if they will let offpeak passes come anytime like they did at the end of last year?
-
wow thats awesome, i cant wait to ride the park in april, who cares about the spring slushy conditions, snowboarding in april is still snowboarding, i'll be there until they close
-
conditions were awesome in the park with very few icey patches and plenty of surface powder all night up until closing
-
yeah music would be sweet...i know they can do it because they used to do it during the comps last year i dont know about this year because i havent been up at all during the comps...just a mix of all kinds of music would be sweet

I think the lift lines are the worst thing, does anyone know if its possible to get a high speed quad for next year, if so is bear looking into it? I know the quad wouldnt shorten lift lines but it would surely help you get more runs in....i think the is the best improvment bear could make
-
So mark your saying that there will be banked turns and jumps on it by wednesday....if so that is awesome.....i will be up there tues and weds but now i am looking forward to wednesday
-
i know there was a lack of snow early this year but now that we have had 12+ inches of natural snow and plenty of temps good enough for snowmaking, why doesnt timberline have any of its previous features...i'm just thinking about how fun it was last year with the banked turns and the jumps at the end and im wondering if we will see that this year?....
-
how bad are the crowds on saturday from open till about 5? also do you think they will be blowing snow in the morning of just at night?
-
what park is this on, i am thinking about heading up but not entering the comp but i still want to ride good parks, how many will still be rideable that day, and does jfbb's parks compare to those at Bear Creeks
-
Blue marsh has closed for good, they are done all operations unless the chance they are bought by someone and reoped, they even got rid of their website
-
last night Aka Tuesday the 31 the conditions were good....the snow wasnt extremely wet and it had a nice covering powder other than the occasional mudspots that u get with this weather....it is definety worth a trip up
-
I think i would have went with blue early this year....but now that bear has been preparing for this weekends competitions i feel theirs has stepped up and took the lead. What do u think?
-
thank you mother nature....i know everyone is getting tired of avoiding mud spots and hitting rocks
-
i figure it willbe a little slushy do to the warm water....they should have enough snow...they blew for a few days straight and added 2 more in. last night...it most likely wont be icey....it wont be great but it will definetly be rideable ....and yes it will be open.... yes the rollercoaster was still up last tiem i was there ....tues...it is fairly hard to hit with a 50-50 but if you can boardslide then you will probably be able to go about 50% of the time...good luck EIs the roller coaster rail still up and has anybody tried it. I wanted to try it last Friday but I got in trouble and couldnt go snowboarding. If the park isn't open on Friday iam gonna be pissed cause Friday night is the only day this weekend i can get up to Bear EDIT: Im sorry i was thinking inverse....the rollercoaster is extremely hard and they had it set up crooked...good luck anyway
-
the park isnt doing to well these days due to all of the rain...you may want to wait a bit until the weather cools down and dries out...but dont worry bear creek will continue to produce the best park in the area when the weather cooperates
-
although park passes would not be the end of the world i disagree with the idea...mainly because it will slow everything down... not only will u be scanned at the bottom of the lift but most likely once again as u enter towards the park...i just think it is too much of a hassle just to ride in the terrain park
-
hate to break it to ya but bear creek doesnt run any lessons on the terrain park...lessons are either on the hill right at the entrance or the bunny slope...wow that rainbow box last page was awesome
-
yeah i was there last night (the 20th) and i felt really slow at the beginning of the night even after a good waxing before i came. As the night went on tho it got a little faster. Overall i was very happy with the conditions the snow was powdery and not very icy. The terrain park is awesome right now. Great job park Staff. One thing tho...i know it is the most common thing to hit but the picnic table landing gets messed up very quick and it doesnt seem to be fixed right away.....

i ride an 05 Ride Control 151 with Flux premium bindings and Northwave Vintage boots
