I was planning on going this weekend, and this is a suite deal, but unfortunately I've got a prior commitment in Baltimore I forgot about.

Epic sesh yesterday. Conditions were solid. I went up from noon to 3 and then again from about 6 to 830. Double dipping. A few thin spots here and there, but nothing too bad. It really was like spring skiing yesterday, temps in the low 40s all day, but the snow held up great. Run of the day was Boomer, with Lightning being in awesome shape too. The park looks pretty nice too, though since it was only day 1 for me and my buddy I only really hit the two hips at the bottom.

Heading up now, (I love the slow season at work). If anyone else is up at le mountain today feel free to say hi. Brown on brown Jacket with a neon green hood and hat.

Now that Long Haul is open, is it going to be like previous years and only run on weekends? Or are we going to see this mysterious lift spinning all week long?

Love it! Just saw long haul spinning from the Shoppes and it made my day. I"ll def be up after work tomorrow or tuesday.

The world lost one of the last true coaches, who cared about his players more than about his own paycheck. Not only is Joe Paterno irreplacable in the hearts of the Nittany Nation, and of coruse on the sidelines, but in the hearts and futures of so many people who will unfortunately not be able to be mentored or learn from him.

I went on the website yesterday and it didn't seem to be working. Is the deal over? I knew I should have snagged these earlier.

It'll be open, no one from the Blue Crue will venture up to this exit of the turnpike, and I'll get to tear up the sick woods runs and catch my hair on fire on Cannonball and hardly have to deal with piles and piles of gapers. Another great year on Montage Mountain.

Weekends used to be decently busy. Moderately sized lines at all the lifts. It used to be crazy when I was in middle school and I would go up on ski club friday nights. There wasn't a seat to be had in the lodge.

I needed a heavy sweatshirt and jeans for a night hike last night. Getting to be about that time.

No way am I done. 60s this weekend at CB mean some beautiful days and goggle tans.

Damn schedules. I'm going to have to skip tomorrow and will be there friday.

Didn't see this coming. I was planning on hitting Frost Saturday to kill the PA season.

They must really love stadium hot dogs, because I can't find an overly good reason to get excited otherwise.

W00t. So pumped for PASR day tomorrow. I'm setting my alarm for 6 but I don't want to guarantee anything. I'm shooting for an 8 on the snow. Hope I remember what some of you guys look like, it's been a while I'll be out in a Brown Northface Jacket, darker brown pants and a bright green bandanna.

Jealous of you guys. Only about 2 inches this morning. There was a decent amount of snow down last night on the roads but the A4 handled it like it wasn't there and by morning it really wasn't with the wind taking care of it.

Woah, I dropped off the board for a little while and look what I find! Awesome guys I'll totally be out for PASR day this year. Sounds awesome.

Great, something to worry about now, my debit card has the visa pay wave in it. Good thing I only hang out around people too stupid to figure out how to make a card reader like that.

Do any other Mountains do club nights though?

I think it comes down to the fact that we could never get organized enough or enough guaranteed people to qualify for a group rate. We just have to find someone willing to sit in the lodge for an hour or two to distribute tickets. Argually pretty hard to do amongst people like us.
