Blue Mountain still needs your help - with each milestone we reach, the discount gets bigger! We have already reached 24,000 Fans = 20% off a lift ticket on the last day we are open! - 27,000 Fans = 50% off a lift ticket on the last day we are open! - 30,000 Fans = Free Skiing & Boarding the last day we are open! * Share this post on your wall and help spread the word! From Blue's facebook. Too bad Gaper day is on Saturday, and they will probably close Sunday -
Sno is still making sno! Just checked their website and they are blowing tonight, and i guess whenever they get a chance this week. Also, it looks like in addition to $10 Tuesday this week, the rest of the week is just 20 bucks for a night ticket. Good excuse for some sessions this week from the guys from other mountains. I know I'll be out there as much as I can.
-
I don't know what time everyone else is going up, but I'll roll in after work around 3 or 4. I'll be parked next to the lift and perhaps I'll chill a few beverages.
-
PASRs at Sno?? What a novelty. I'll be up tomorrow too. Hope to see some of you guys out there.
-
100 percent agree. It's good business to let them party all night. So what? you have to have a ski patroler give them a ride down the hill at the end of the day. What could that possibly cost you? Plus it is a bragging right to those super rich party goers.
-
Yeah, it was a really nice surprise. Tuesday has been drawing a decent crowd the past few weeks so I guess the opening of Long Haul is worth it. It was awesome getting some sweet top to bottom runs in. And for anyone interested, I timed my ride on Long Haul, and it was 11 minutes 35 seconds from sit down to stand up, no stops.
-
Nice 10to dollar Tuesday so far. Some fresh snow from last night on the trails and temps in the mid 30stwenties are making it pretty nice out. Upperand lower fast track are closed, but all other trails are open. Just a few sketchy spots here and there. Overcast skies and a moderate crowd. Most notable thing is that long haul is open.
-
The only things missing right now are lower fast track and the glades,
-
That area off to the side is some of the most fun tree skiing in pa when we get a lot of snow. You can duck into the woods at the top by long haul and stay in there almost the whole way down. Make a wrong turn or go too far away from the trail and its unreal, but also expect to hike out. Oh, and watch out for porcupines, they're everywhere in there.
-
Since when has 30 bucks for skiing been over the top? I was going to chime in about the happy hours too, but riderrossi summed it up pretty well for me.
-
Gorgeous PIctures.
-
Whoot! Warm day for a RAW sesh for me. Come on sno regulars and Blue fanboys alike, 10 bucks doesn't even get you a movie! Support the Sno and shred some super sweet gnar on the highest lift accessd peak in the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Metropolitan area.
-
Thanks, toast, this season sucked for me in the beginning, lots of work and not a whole lot of snow, I'm officially back in PASR mode now though.
-
Friday: Driving down to Baltimore and having diner at The Prime Rib, then hitting the city. Saturday: Waking up in Baltimore and figuring out what to do next. Sunday: Driving back north and stopping at Boulder sunday night.

4 Lift Tickets for $50 starts this weekend...1/7 & 1/8 !

I was planning on going this weekend, and this is a suite deal, but unfortunately I've got a prior commitment in Baltimore I forgot about. -
Epic sesh yesterday. Conditions were solid. I went up from noon to 3 and then again from about 6 to 830. Double dipping. A few thin spots here and there, but nothing too bad. It really was like spring skiing yesterday, temps in the low 40s all day, but the snow held up great. Run of the day was Boomer, with Lightning being in awesome shape too. The park looks pretty nice too, though since it was only day 1 for me and my buddy I only really hit the two hips at the bottom.
-
Heading up now, (I love the slow season at work). If anyone else is up at le mountain today feel free to say hi. Brown on brown Jacket with a neon green hood and hat.
-
Now that Long Haul is open, is it going to be like previous years and only run on weekends? Or are we going to see this mysterious lift spinning all week long?
-
Love it! Just saw long haul spinning from the Shoppes and it made my day. I"ll def be up after work tomorrow or tuesday.

The world lost one of the last true coaches, who cared about his players more than about his own paycheck. Not only is Joe Paterno irreplacable in the hearts of the Nittany Nation, and of coruse on the sidelines, but in the hearts and futures of so many people who will unfortunately not be able to be mentored or learn from him.
-
I went on the website yesterday and it didn't seem to be working. Is the deal over? I knew I should have snagged these earlier.
-
It'll be open, no one from the Blue Crue will venture up to this exit of the turnpike, and I'll get to tear up the sick woods runs and catch my hair on fire on Cannonball and hardly have to deal with piles and piles of gapers. Another great year on Montage Mountain.
