  1. Looks good to me. It kind of sucks that I can't get there tomorrow, but it looks like it would be best to go during the day so I can get in the trees. This weekend is busy, and next weekend I'll be at Frost, but maybe the weekend after.
  2. Snow falling here, has been since early afternoon. About 2 inches I think? Its hard to tell when it falls on snow thats already there, and the sidewalks are swept religiously here.
  3. It looks good from everything I've seen, but I've never been there either. I was supposed to go on Friday, but my lab got switched so I'm in class until 530.
  4. Any takers on march 7th to 15th?
  5. Great TR. Making me want to go to Stowe soooo bad. I'll definitely be up there later in the season with the PSU snowboard club trip.
  6. I saw it on WNEP. Looks like the rope slipped off of a set of wheels on one of the towers.
  7. I still can't imagine why they cut down the trees between spike and switch. Unless its so you can view the park from the lift. They left pipes and stumps all over thet area so its not even skiable! Just a big waste if you ask me.
  8. A decent number of members here run Nastar. Whether it is just once in a while or they are there every week, lots of people really enjoy it.
  9. Not exactly what I had pictured when I thought about the stash. I thought it was in the trees, but it looks like that section was on a cut trail .
  10. And this is why mom always tells you to put on clean underwear
  11. Awesome, just awesome. I'm really jealous, have a great time!
  12. Its still at Northstar, it was just there last year too, they expand each year but don't necessarily close the others.
  13. Where they had The Stash last year

    Everything Elk

Welcome to PASR happyjack! For younger kids I would probably say that Sno would be a little better for them. Elk is pretty much just like their trailmap looks like, long trails and not a lot of beginner stuff. Sno is broken down into an upper and lower mountain. The top part is mellow, relatively straight runs that increase in difficulty as you move across the mountain to skier's right (left on the trail map). For the more adventurous, or if you just want to sneak away for a little while you can drop down the North Face and hit the steeps down there which are always a good time.
  15. This is the first year that it is at Killington. They had it at some place out west last year, I forget where though.
  16. You can always put your goggles up on your forehead.
  17. I've wanted to ride a stash park since I first heard about them a few years ago. I'll definitely have to make a trip up and see it this year.
  18. That can't be right
  19. The double ride does suck, but I thought it was worth it to do all of Toll Road at least once.
  20. PASR organized one last year that was a lot of fun. It was at blue, but everyone wore some crazy outfits and we had a blast. It is a garuntee that one will happen again this year. Just wait for an official announcement about the date and the place!
  21. All solid options.

    Wow BC...

Glad I stayed home today. I'm probably going to take advantage of next week though and get out a lot midweek.
  23. Just woke up myself. Feel like i've been hit by 3 trucks and a snowboarded into a tree. Oh well. I'll get over it in an hour when The Nittany Lions take the field in the Granddaddy of them all!! Fight on State, Fight on State, strike your gait and Win! Victory we predict for thee, we're ever true to you, dear old White and Blue!
  24. Not I. The Rose Bowl is going to be an all day thing for me! Making stromboli and wings in the AM and then heading over to my diehard Penn State fan Cousin's to watch and enjoy! Lets Go State!
  25. Tussey Mountain will rent out their tubing operation after hours to frats and groups and stuff if you want to tube and drink. Every 3 or 4 tubes that go up has a case of beer in it haha.
