While a $10 ticket is really good, it kind of sucks that its only on wednesdays now. Last year college day was both tuesday and thursday for a $15 ticket. I went up there twice a week before sno opened because of it.

I can't even imagine what day to day costs would be for a place like that. If there was anywhere that should go all park its a place like that.

Their website says they're adding a deck and doing remodeling for this season. I'd be curious to know how much has actually been done though. Anyone want to do some recon for us?

It would be cool if you kept it going through the season and into the spring. Then you would have the snowmaking process, all the daily snow movement of the season and then the melting.

Why all the hate on vids with only one snowsport in it? I guess thats what you have to do nowadays.... I"m sending emails to Poor Boyz and make them put boarders in the next ski porn and I'll boycott and bash them until they film boarders. Seriously why is this an issue? Some people film boards, some film skis, some film both. Just remember all you PASRs, next time you're out filming your friends, make sure you waste some time filming random people on the mountain so you can have some diversity in your edit, we don't want the on snow equiovalent of the NAACP on your ass.

I could definately see neveplast working if it was incorporated into an area with an existing summer operation. Nothing big, but there were some rails next to water slides, i think its safe to assume that they would get their fair share of action. Maybe we should tell the Sno guys about this. If they made a small hikeable park in one of the teaching areas that flank the last part of mainline/highball that would be perfect.

To switch gears a little bit from whats not going in, to what is. This actually sounds half decent. The part that caught my eye was about "electric bumper boats at the ski area's reservoir". I'm assuming that they're not going to dig a new reservoir so I guess this will mean you'll be able to go down the north face in the summer. I think it would be pretty cool to see lightning bare, and I also always wanted to see some use of that reservoir, its actually a decently nice body of water. They have officially gotten my business. Maybe the resurgence of the Alpine slide in the future? I mean, most places get rid of alpine slides due to insurance, but if your insurance can cover a 65 mph zip line, its probobly enough to get this favorite attraction back. Plus it would be the only one in the Poconos now.

So I guess thats a no-go on the first annual jeep jumping explostastic keg-orama festival.

With enough they can make any topography they want It may not be 100% practical though.
