I would hope there would be something like that. What if you fall or come up short? I wouldn't want to have nothing but a 10 foot drop below me on the sides, little QP's if for nothing else to act as kind of a safety net.

So let me get this straight, if I work there this year doing lifts or rentals, I get a free pass thats only good monday thru friday? No weekend skiing for employees?

Just got off the phone with my friend from back home. He's home for break now and went up to Sno today to get a job. They pretty much hired him on the spot. I think I'll probobly follow suit when I get home next week. Maybe I'll apply to be the guy in the moose suit.

The door will probobly be covered with snow for the most part.

We did have stickers going for a while and I"ve got one on the back of my helmet. What are the odds of more stickers happening this year?

Maybe they just didn't want to have to compete with Ryan Neptune in the next few years. In all seriousness, what boulder wasn't cool at all. Any mountain would be lucky to have thse guys, they really screwed up bad with this one and they will most definately regret it.

Happened to me too, most people call it s*mmer. I'm sure there is a good reason for this little hiatus, but the snow always brings them back.....

On snow ITC is slated for next weekend, so my best guess would be the week after that.

First of all I thought that they were doing a midnight madness on New Years, but found out it wasn't happening a week ago. I'll definately be there on the 14th though. That would be so awesome to ride that late.

While this is ovbiously true, you can recreate the feeling of a slope in your backyard. You'll just need a few things for on/around your trail to complete it. 1. A weeks worth of trash. 2. An asian family 3. Your mean neighbor in a red jacket 4. a $35 pizza When you get those things you're all set!

I'm sure it won't be all that bad. ParkLogic definatley would have been a major contributer to JFBB, but whats done is done. I bet the guys there now will want to put together the sickest park on the east coast just to spite them. In that case we benefit. Boulder/Frost have always had great parks, I'm sure this year won't be any different.

Are you sure thats a good idea with the meds? You don't want to have another ambulance ride, or was the nurse that hot?

Its certainly not cost effective at all to do the whole mountain, but I wonder why some places haven't concidered covering small areas or even just the whales early on like this with tarps to try to preserve the snow from rain? Would it melt under the tarp faster than the rain would take it out?

At this point it doesn't really affect me all that much. I won't be home to ride for another week and a half anyway. Its not all bad for me then that they're waiting on an opening. I just feel bad for all the other locals back there. I wonder if they will have any kind of "grand opening" stuff going on?

I'm no old binding expert but would they even work with a newer pair of boots?
