Woah, that website is actually pretty nice. I can't wait to see what its like when everything gets into full swing. Also, did anyone notice the "sno spa" link at the bottom?!?! THis is getting out of control, we might actually have to worry about, dare I say it.........tourists.

Speaking of countdowns, what ever happened to the counter til the first day of winter? -

Totally payoff, there aren't many things you can do today without a college degree. P.S. That topsheet is totally SICK!!! nice job parkbuilder! -
Oh you silly racers Racing actually seems pretty cool, but I think I'll stick with getting a new board and stealing my bro's skis when I want to go for 2 planks.

Ok, so I'm in the market for a new board and bindings. I had a burton board (ok) and burton bindings (terrible) previously. I'm thinking about getting away from burton a little bit here, but some of their boards don't look too bad. The hard part for me is that I need a big all mountain board, but I'm starting to get into park riding a little bit (mostly out of boredom at tussey). Just trying to get some more input on this situation. 6'0" 193lbs Size 12 boot Go!

Unfortunately I live in Luzerne county so I can't really get in on this issue, but I just relly hope Washo doesn't make it, Cordaro seems to be pretty cool though.
-
I watched another meeting last night and I honestly couldn't believe what I saw. Washo just couldn't stay on topic and would constantly start talking about his lies and attacking corado. He really is just a dick. They voted on a number of things and he voted no on every one of them. Even stupid ones that had nothign to do with anything. HE ACTUALLY VOTED NO ON THE MEMORANDUM THAT WOULD KEEP MONTAGE A SKI AREA FOR 10 YEARS!! I really can't stand it anymore. He's still convinced that they can get more money for Montage, and thinks the land is developable. Even after many people told him that it was not feasable to build there, he was still convinced.

This really is fantastic. I can't believe I missed this for a few days. I think sno mountain should give washo a swift kick in the balls for every snowgun they are going to put in despite his best efforts.

true....

I'm only paying 200 a month and I've actually got a nice townhouse instead of a 600 dollar rat hole apartment.

I agree with you Zonked, nothign can top the comedic quality of this thread. On a similar note, Shame on you Jeff.

The one at Boulder last year was a kink. It was a flat rail, then sloped downwards over the windshield and hood.

Thats what I like to hear. Even with the slight over pay, they're getting a great investment relatively cheap. I'm glad to hear that they'll invest more money now. Sno Mountain you
-
The appraisal was just released and was on the news. 4.3 million. 4.3 million Yeah, lets hold out for some more money now. Sno's 5.1 is a blessing, now there is no reason to not take it and run.

makes sense....

Heres an idea. What if we orgainzed PASR days far enough in advance that we could call up a mountain and get a group rate. This would 1. orgainize the whole thing much more 2. get people cheap tix to mountain's that aren't their home 3. get everyone together because they have to pick up their tickets.

They actually used to have a frisbee golf course. It wasn't all that bad. All around the base area and then up highball/mainline a little bit. This is really just getting rediculous. We've just got to hope the judge has a good head on his shoulders or is a skier. Not that I live in lacawanna county, but I know if I did Washo wouldn't be getting my vote next time around.
-
Its sad to think of but this is really the case. For the past few winters I can't remember snow sticking around on the ground for more than 2 weeks at a time. Without good snowmaking we would ride maybe 2 days a year.

Wouldn't it be much easier to build on a relatively flat golf course than on the side of a steep mountain?
