  1. Is there a minimum donation or anything?
  2. Its definately doable for me. Last semester I left Killington sunday at 630 and got back into my dorm around 330 monday morning with a 9 am class. I'll do what it takes to get on the snow.
  3. 1. is there any sort of prize 2. how many people to a team?
  4. This definately sounds like something that would be awesome to do. This would push the limit of my riding to a complete new level.
  5. Its been snowing for a few hours a day here since monday, but nothing sticking around.
  6. Saturday and crowded? As a montage rider I don't quite comprehend this.
  7. What ever happened to the turtles. Gotta have love for those Heroes in a Halfshell.
  8. Just get this set up early enough that I can make plans to get there. A saturday would be nice too.
  9. Does this mean PASR members will be exempt from getting yelled at?
  10. At least its cold again. A storm would be fantastic, but snowmaking temps are still enough to get me excited at this point.
  11. Thats absoulutely sick, Congrats ski. I wonder what the numbers would be for a groomed lightning.
  12. Are they planning on going for the rest of the mountain at all, or just blow hard on what they've got for the rest of the year?
  13. You guys are silly Spiderman didn't have a cape.
  14. Chuck Norris would roundhouse kick spring in the face and we'd have winter until June.
  15. I did see taht Good thing he had a Terrible Towel to wipe it off with!!!
  16. The Groundhog does not lie! (unless he predicts early spring) Vive Phil!!
  17. I'm sure those bumps are fun, but I'm with Montage skier on this one. The first bumps I ever saw were on the north face and since I've never seen any that are even in the same league except for up in VT. Not to knock any other bumps around the area, but this is one thing Montage does do well.
  18. Like I said in another post its all about the RATINGS. It seems to me that snowboarding isn't really seen as an "EXTREME sport" anymore, jumping dirt bikes still is, hence its showing at the X-games. I don't agree with it at all, but thats just how things are now.
  19. Just another reason why I don't really understand the concept of a "lift line"........
  20. Hmmm, this is going to take some work to get there......
  21. So is the Montage PASR day officially moved, or will there be multiple days.
  22. This entire forum looked pretty empty so I'll start posting now that I've actually been there. Last night was my first trip to Tussey. They've got some great deals so every Tuesday and Thursday you can go for $10. Heres the rundown: I hopped on the B route bus and was at the lodge in just over 20 minutes, the bus made a ton of stops to drop commuters off at their houses. The mountain itself is pretty nice. Not the biggest in the world but it serves the purpose. It was definately the smallest mountain I've ever been to. They only really had 3 slopes open last night. A nice long diamond/blue, a green cruiser, and another diamond/blue, but Penn State's ski team was practicing on it so I only did it a 3 times. On the closed side they had another diamond and the terrain park closed. Tussey doesn't exactly have the snowmaking of other places, so the closed trails were closed for a reason. They did make snow like crazy the whole time I was there. The main slope was covered in guns, as was the first headwall of the race trail. Snow was great, only got slightly icy at the very end of the night, but there was enough good snow to be had if you knew where to look. The top of the race trail (above where the gates were) was amazing, the guns threw so much snow down and very few people touched it. Almost made me feel like I was riding powder. Lift wise they have a rather old quad that goes to the top, a T-bar to the top (it was closed) and a small double for the bunny slope. Even though there was a decent crowd, there were hardly any lift lines. The vertical of roughly 500 is like Montage which made me feel right at home, the nice part is that there is no runout at all. Top to bottom there is a really nice pitch which lead me to get my first speed warning of my life from a patroler. Overall I give the place a really nice rating and I can't wait to get back.
  23. Absolutely incredible Absolutely incredible
  24. I'd love to enter, but don't have any way to get there this weekend
  25. It is pretty bad but it serves the purpose (sometimes)
