A ticket for saturday will run you $47. I find that just a little rediculous, but you pay what you have to pay I guess.

And trust me, the conditions are like mid January! Plus, if you have been there lately and bring your old lift ticket, you get a half price one.

The morning was awesome, good snow everywhere. Even the sides of the trails were rideable and formed some cool natural jumps.

I just got back from elk for my first trip there this season. I can only say AMAZING!! Everything was open, the woods were full of tons of snow and it was awesome. You name it, it was there today, fresh pow, crazy tree runs, cliffs, gaps over frozen streams and tons of ungroomed trails. Everyone has to get to Elk by the end of the season, preferably before this fresh snow melts.

Ok well its probobly the last big snowfall of the year (I really hope it isn't). So lets get some totals on here. Where are you, how much snow do you have and what time is it? Wyoming Valley, 4.94 inches and it is 6:39 p.m

Who cares if its not the best mountain. Its going to be OPEN!!

I heard elk is possibly getting up to 10 inches.

I would "fall" every 2 feet if i had to, to be able to ride stuff like that.

We should have a PASR golf tournament in the summer.

I actually might be up at elk on thursday, its either that or cb. It depends if my friend can get me free tickets to elk.

Elk is awesome. They have some of the best trails. Jumps are fun, but there is nothing that can beat a nice long diamond.

Lightning was groomed for some reason today. It was awesome with all this soft snow, I carried my speed into it for some ungodly reason and i'm pretty sure i broke the sound barrier. (as well as almost breaking the barrier around the lift cuz it kinda came up on me quick). The liftie never saw anyone fly through the lift line like that before and up cannonball a little bit.

Me and one of my friends were concidering a trip up to canada. We figured when the snow ran out there we would head to Argentina.

where do the snowmobiles race? I can't imagine it would be on all of the slopes.

This is so stupid, why is everybody closing so early? Its still below freezing most nights and they all have deep bases.

I have a feeling that the early closing is due to of course money. They should cut back in some areas to allow for a longer season. Stop giving lessons, cut back staff in the lodge, run fewer lifts. For god's sake don't close with fully covered trails and a deep base.

I'm really feelin' this weather, I keep waking up to a little snow on the car and walks!
