Has anyone seen this new (and as far as I know only ever) tv commercial for Montage. It's hilarious. I'll bet they are now charging for the ski check to cover the $800 production fee for this one.

It was really depressing to have to clean off the cars and shovel the snow in the rain today. The rain took my snow from its original 2.75 inches all the way down to 2.0625 inches.

True, more specifically I'm in West Pittston. Right along the banks of the susquehanna.

I've got 2.75 inches of fresh powder in my yard and it doesn't seem to want to stop coming down!!!

We've got a pretty steady snowfall here, no sleet or rain in sight.

True, I guess an empty golf course is a little different than a slope crowded with people.

You can't really blame them. I know that when I work at a golf course in the summer half the fun is just driving really fast (and if no one is around wild and recklissy). You have to watch out though, one of the guys I work withe totaled a $15,000 golf cart.

I don't know who did it, but now I'll have to use that one whenever I go into the lodge.

Elk is awesome. I was only once, but it was awesome. Like atomic said, there is just a certain feel about that place.

The same thing apparantly goes for the instructors at Montage. You just have to show that you can make it down a square in one piece. I was riding w/ one of my frends girlfriends who got an instructor job. I would smoke her down highball and then stop at the bottom and look up to see her fall a few times.

I wonder how the snow is going to be by the weekend (when i can get back on it again). Between rain, snow, ice, warm temps and all its going to be interesting.

So thats where they are from. I've seen them around and heard the accents, but I couldn't place them.

I think you have ones similar to mine. Arent they awesome? not only are they good boots, they are really cheap.

This is killing me! I might have to trade in my snowboard for a wakeboard if this keeps up.

I've got a cool pair of salomons that are awesome. They don't have the BOA, but they have a cool lacing system where the laces are connected w/ a plastic handle at the top. All you have to do is lace them and pull tight. They're super easy, and feel like a pair of sneakers. I could seriously wear them all day and have no problems.

Its not really that all of the rangers suck. Just most of them. There are just certain people with that ranger attitude. It sucks when they put on that jacket and it reallyu comes out. If you're a cool guy normally you'll make a cool ranger. Its just about avoiding the mean ones, and letting the cool ones help you out every now and again.

Yeah I was there. I was riding with 3 other boarders. We probobly saw each other but just didn't know. That jump you guys built was nice. I spent a lot of time on boomer though. There were 3 chute jumps and a little cliff drop on the left that were pretty good. Everything was rediculously bumpy too, it was great.

At least you have a park. Montage is no where near even having that trail open yet, let alone have enought snow for jumps.

If they had a boarder cross i would like to try that. Is there any way to practice on that type of course anywhere around here?

I'd sure trade a park for powder any day.

I was at Montage yesterday, and the pool table was gone. They can never seem to keep anything worthwhile around for long.
