Mixed emotions. Glad they are opening, sad I can't be there on either Friday or Saturday. Edit: I hope my pass is still in my jacket pocket.

From the tire tracks in the webcam shot it looks like it's at least 3 inches or so of snow. That's an impressive system they have there to lay down edge to edge coverage like that in one night. Now it's time to start building whales.

I had to google four queens too. Never seen or heard of it.

Guns still cranking at 8:40 and tonight looks like a decent window too. Thursday/Friday look too warm but if the temps hold the way they are forecasted I can see some of you guys in the upper lot the weekend of the 4th.

So you toss it all in a pot and heat it up on the stove? I think this might be the winter of hot beverages for me.

I was expecting a lot more atmosphere but there really wasn't much. I thought it would be the kind of thing that would elicit a lot of hooting and hollering from the crowd but it was pretty quiet in there. Also, I was shocked with the amount of time that they spent showing people skiing groomers. Maybe next year they will send a camera crew to watch us on Switchback.

Unless I'm mistaken Blue is the only place in PA that regularly adds new trails, which is awesome.

I've spent a lot of time around concrete trucks but I've never seen one with wheels up top on the back like that. Anyone know what that's about?

No Heat November is still going strong for me. I put the big comforter on the bed last night and woke up very warm. Not sure it really counts for me considering I'm in a third floor condo and gas heat is included in the HOA but regardless I did not turn the heat on yet.

The last time I looked at an electric bill you essentially get double charged. $X for the generation of the electricity and $Y for the delivery of it to you. You get billed X+Y

All of these math problems are interesting but I just need to know who is leaving money on the table.

Do you guys know if there are any rules or recommendations on timing or number of boosters that you can get? I'm thinking it might be a good idea for me to wait and get an immune boost before the holidays and/or travel season.

Those flight prices are making this extremely enticing. I'm blacked out from 2/25 to 3/6 unfortunately but before or after I would be interested.

I think I night skied twice last year and it was times I was coming or going to/from the Scranton area and I just made a stop. The first 3 years I was on the snow I didn't go during the day once but now I don't know how I feel about it. The crowd is way different at 7pm than 8am and I don't find the joy in trying to turn and hope it's not a complete sheet of ice, which was absolutely the case one of the nights I was there.
