The year I bought a fresh new shovel it didn't snow. Just saying....

Turned on the heated seat in the car today for myself which is a big deal. I turn the passenger side one on in the summer to keep take out food warm sometimes.

While I get the appeal of low interest rates, the inflation of home prices washes that right out so I really don't understand why the market is still so hot. My concern is that people who have overpaid and locked in good mortgage rates will now sit on these houses for longer than they typically would because 1. Their next move will give them a higher rate 2. It will be difficult to get the price they paid for the house back out of it

I went at noon, the sale started at 10. There were 2 boxes of goggles and by the time I got to them it was only child sizes and replacement lenses.

Once the count reaches the population of the state can we stop counting? Or do we go back around to 0?

Season Pass talk feels like it's out of place and/or there's no urgency for some reason. But when I look at the calendar we are +/- 60 days from the start of the season!

"Thanks for calling Blue mountain, we open at noon on Saturdays so don't come before then".

Right now a price increase would be largely mental for most PASRs. Kind of like going from $8.99 to $10 seems like a big jump in the mind. But there is a number, not sure what that is, but it definitely exists where it begins to get a lot less appealing to buy a season pass for Blue and to rather spend your skiing dollars elsewhere. This is especially true if you don't go during the week a lot or you have a longer drive.

I really don't think KSL cares too much about the little things like that. I get the feeling that they are much more into the business and not the operations

I know for the guys that live close the price of a pass isn't really a big deal, but for those of us who have to drive an hour to get to Blue I would definitely think twice about just buying one if the price went up to Elk levels.

You don't put in a new lift at a mountain you might close in a few years......

I've never had a few beers in the parking lot of the Waldorf so I'm fine with the Red Roof.

I'm going to guess that in a year or two they will offer some kind of pass where it's $$ for Blue or CB alone and $$+200 for a combo.
